Greetings summoners!
RULESET: Fire & Regret
This week`s highlighted rule is Fire and Regret. All units receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back.
When you see that ability you may need to think about avoiding Range monsters. Up to you tho, sometimes using few range monsters in that scenario could surprise your enemy. 😉
MY HUMBLE EXAMPLE OF A BATTLE:
We are in Diamond (modern league).
We have 38 mana to work with.😎
Rules are as follows: highlighted Fire and Regret, weak magic and melee mayhem
Fire and Life splinters can`t be used.😒
WHY? WHY? WHY?
Djinn Chwala is sturdy frontline. His dmg is also great, especially when enraged.
Carnage Titan is amazing secondary tank, who can deal up to 8 dmg per turn!
Soul strangler for the spice! Cheap mana price (3), high dmg and possibility to poison.
Ever-hungry Skull was good choice too, since magic dmg was blocked by armor and melee can attack from any position.
Venari marksrats only purpose is to die and give stats (sorry rat).
Dr. Blight to stop healing, positioned last to absorb martyr.
HOW? HOW? HOW?
Here is how: Battle link
Venari Marksrat died first as intended and gave Dr. Blight + Hungry skull additional stats.
Even though we took some heavy hits, we also managed to thin their defenses, because of good frontline dmg + Hungry skull thorns doing work on their backline attackers.
Once we chewed through Baakjira while keeping frontline relatively okay, match was as good as done. 😎
Conclusion:
- Veni, vidi, vici ...
- Once again: VENARI MARKSRAT
- Use monsters with a lot of armor when playing weak magic.
