A very useful flying card
In this weekly quest we have a very useful flying card that often goes unnoticed: Carrion Shade. Flying over the heads of our enemies, it is often difficult to kill it due to its flying condition. It is part of the death splinter, from the new Chaos Legion collection and has a truly affordable price today. It is a must for anyone who wants a death deck updated to the new changes that CL brings.
So here we go!
PREP STAGE
On this occasion I have to say that I already had a level 1 Carrion Shade in my deck, as well as many chaos cards legion of death prepared for the silver league. As you can see in the image, Carrion Shade is more dangerous from level 3 with the flying ability, causing the opponent to have more misses.
In a mid-low mana battle, it's important to use some very low mana cards that serve as secondary shields to defend our main cards, and in this sense Carrion Shade is essential to delay the opponent's attack.
For those of you who don't have this setup in your deck, I've looked at the minimum rental price, as the image below shows, the chosen cards are worth 8'4 dec in the current rental market. It's a really low price compared to rents for other quests.

Understanding rival strategy
From my point of view, the opponent's main idea is to focus his attack on my back lane, while his defensive cards resist my main attacks on his tank. To do this, he uses a very balanced setup with three defensive cards and three offensive cards.
On defense, Chaos Agent (A) and Radiated Scorcher (B) are secondary shields to his main defense, tank Living Lava (C), a card with the shield ability that takes melee and ranged attacks very well.
After this tough defense, the attack on my second line begins, Lava Spider (D) has the Snape ability, Serpentine Spy (E) has the ability to attack my most vulnerable card, and Tenyii Striker (F) attacks my last position. This opens up three lines of attack on three of my positions and his ruthless tank would join in attacking mine. As if that weren't enough, the chosen summoner is TARSA, who adds 1 melee damage to all of his cards.
It is a logical strategy, from someone who understands the dynamics of the game and I do not see possible and obvious improvements.
Understanding my strategy
My strategy is as follows, my main offensive weapon is the Sand Worm card and give it the greatest possible protection so that it is not damaged, putting various cards in front of and behind him as secondary shields, in case the sneakers appear. In the same way the spines of my tank are fundamental from the defensive point of view.
💀THADDIUS: Reduce 1 magic and take 1 life from the opponent.
Cursed Windeku (1) In my first position I needed a tank with special abilities, in this case his Thorns ability does two damage when melee hit.
Furious Chicken (2) A secondary shield at my position two to avoid a simple attack.
Sand Worm (3) My main attack card attacking her last position with a lot of melee damage, well hidden in my second lane so she's hard to get to.
Life Sapper (4) It steals 1 life from the card that attacks each round, it is hidden from rival attacks so that its life grows a lot.
CARRION SHADE (5) A secondary shield against sneakers.
Chaos Agent (6) A secondary shield against sneakers
I think that my strategy, as I said about the rival's, cannot be further improved, except for some detail that I am not able to see.
RESULTS & Experience
Once the used cards of the two opponents are known, the key to winning this battle is as follows, the first team to kill the opponent's attack cards would win the game. In my case, my Sand Worm was especially hidden despite the fact that my opponent attacks me from three different places. Sand Worm's menu, it must be said clearly, is really good! It has an outstanding melee attack, and when the enemy sets up their main attack in the last position, our gritty friend completely destroys it. Although he had a very interesting triple attack, my secondary shields protected me and in each round he lost a main card. Finally, his main tank alone couldn't do anything against me.
My experience with the proposed card has been excellent, I've been in the game for a long time and I fully understand the immense utility of secondary shields, cards that apparently do nothing, they are the key to winning games!
Regardless, it's always a pleasure to learn from opponents, that triple attack will be useful to learn to use in my build in other battles. Good opponent!👌

Your battle was great, you explain the battle and your strategy very well. On the other hand, I notice that you don't have a presentation on the platform, in order to know you better, I recommend you to make a presentation in the, GEMS or OCD community.
