I feel that not streaming the fights during the Splinterlands hosted tournaments on the Splinterlands official Twitch channel, which are 24hr rounds, is a big opportunity missed to gain new players into the game. As E-Sports is an up-and-coming scene, Splinterlands could showcase their game to a wide range of people by having streamers show fights for the tournaments and introduce new people to the game, while talking about competitive and general Splinterlands gameplay.
As we currently have SplinterlandsTV which displays general Splinterland content to the current community, we are missing the great tournament content that the company puts out for its users.
As the tournaments are 24hrs, I am proposing to get various streamers from around the world who speak a range of languages to create a timetable and spectate the games during their prime times.
For example, Filipino streamers could show some tournament fights at 8 pm their time and change to a different streamer 2-3 hours later, who will then be showing fights during their country's prime slots. I have gone into more detail on how Splinterlands can set this up below.
I feel that doing this not only allows the fights to be watched but also allows everyone from all over the world to get to see how tournament fights can work if they haven't entered one before due to time zones.
I feel this would help gain a new audience in the esports space by displaying the great fights we have in the Splinterlands competitive tournaments and as you need SPS staked to enter the tournaments, it will showcase the best players and entice more people to join the tournaments.
Currently, Splinterlands don't display these games and by streaming them we can use this as an opportunity to display some of the great streamers we have in the community from all over the world. This will also bridge the gap to help people learn more about the game and get a better insight into tournaments from someone who is their native speaker. By having this it will allow players to get a better understanding of the game and how to get better in tournaments on a regular basis.
Splinterlands currently run tournaments all week and as they are 24 hours it will be easy to make a timetable to display the tournaments as there will also be something to show. E-Sports is just a natural progression for a card game and having a 24-hour tournament show will only help build up the Splinterlands community, and I feel this will be a great step forward.
Having it set up to be around 7/9 pm and change over the stream to be someone in a country in that time. Here is a example time table:
They could reward the streamers in the same way they are in splinterlandstv or offer splinterlands assets as i feel this would be something all streamers would want to be a part of.
Countries to focus on at the beginning
Usa 1 am - 4 am UTC / 8pm - 11pm usa time
Japan 6 am - 9 am UTC/ 3pm - 6 pm Japanese time
China 9am -12pm UTC / 5pm - 8pm Chinese time
Philippines - 12pm - 3pm UTC / 8pm - 11pm Filipino time
Spain 6pm - 9pm UTC/ 7pm - 10 pm Spanish time
UK 9 pm - 11pm UTC/ 9 pm-11pm GMT time
I made this timetable so that each show will hit a prime time slot for various countries. Each show would be 3 hours long and will display some of the tournaments and also answer any questions/analyses of the games.
I have also included a gap in the timetable to allow Town Hall streams and other things of that nature that are already streamed on the Twitch channel in general.
Having this included, I feel this will make more people want to join the tournaments and also help with the growth of the game.
This is the Twitch account I am proposing to stream the Splinterlands-hosted tournaments and also help build up the engagement and viewership for Town Halls:
.This is the Twitch account I am happy to keep within the community conversation, general game play and also to answer any questions people may have on new proposals with other memebers of the community: https://twitch/tv/splinterlandstv.
As this proposal isn't guaranteed to go through and cost a large sum of DEC. If this is something people will want, I will set up an account for people to help donate DEC towards paying the fee, however, I will contribute a large sum to get the ball rolling.
Please can everyone share this post and express your views on the situation so I know if this is something the community would like me to work towards building.

yes it's always good , new strategies to attract more players to splinterlands 😉
yh i feel spl.tv is great to display the community but we need a place that shows competitive games in a Esport format as that is what normal gamers are used to.

You are missing out on the german market with a lot of gamers in 3 countries.
I generally like this Idea, have you talked to @r0nd0n about this? We could target different tournaments and stream them. It is good content and we can analyze a lot of the matchups.

i feel rondon focus is splinterlands community over tournaments, i asked about sponsorships for tournaments and stuff like that but got told a hard no as it will be unfair for the other streamers. But now we have giveaways none stop on spltv so i feel it would be better to have one for the giveaway spam in the chat and another for competitive convo and been the tone about tournaments and not random updates in the games. spltv displays the spl community perfectly so i doubt they will want to rebrand it as the esport center for the game. splinterlands tv for spl community and another channel called splinterlands for all the tournaments and esports. it would do wonders for the grow of the game
What if we took the give away prizes and used them as tournament prizes as a way of "SplinterlandsTV" sponsoring some Splinterlands tournaments?
There's a lot that could be done to not only broadcast a tournament (perhaps 1 big one, once a month) - or have a regular weekly Splinterlands TV tournament. :)

I like this idea, however might i suggest some cons i see and then other possibilities to ponder with this.
Cons:
like the idea of the covering all the timezones. but this is alot of hours of streaming. I dont think we can expect splinterlands to want to foot the bill for 14 more hours a day of streamer pay..
Suggestion:
perhaps start smaller and make sure there is a audience. do a 2 hour stream in more of a Sports Center vibe. get 3 people to be a panel. those people review the tournament before the show. and they each bring attention to stand out fights that got thier attention (highlights) allowing the other 2 hosts to comment.
this would only be a 2 hour stream. and could maybe be hosted on the official channel.
have to stream now. ran out of time for more thoughts.
