The Big Picture
Riftwatchers presale will be coming out next month, amid super bullish news for SPS it is currently down slightly from its recent pump. Vouchers are having a bumpy ride as investors weigh the costs of buying vouchers now versus after the promo card announcement. At present, it is a gamble to buy vouchers as the promo card stats has not been released yet and could be overpowered or underwhelming, which will inevitably reflect on the price of vouchers after its reveal.

Today we will be talking about wavesmiths. Being the only water card that has protect at level one, this card provides extremely high utility for water teams even in the lower leagues. Not to mention its max level stats where it can deal up to 3 magic damage per hit. Because of the recent release of kelya, which provides +1 armor to the entire team, people might think that wavesmiths has lost its edge and would no longer be useful. But, the truth is, the extra 2 armor it provides actually makes a team much more well defended and extremely hard to pick off backlines. Take the Scavo Hireling for example, it has only one health, and in a kelya team it would take 2 hits to kill it, one for armor and the other for health. but with the wavesmith's protect, it can take up to 3 hits from a 2 damage monster, which we have plenty of with the opportunity ability. At 5 mana, it cannot be played in the little league rulesets, but it can definitely serve as a good low mana game fortifier. at 3 health it is also unlikely to be the first target of opportunity monsters, providing space for other cards to finish of the opponent before they chew trough so muc armor. My thesis is, with the Queen mycelia valued at 8.6$, there is no way that wavesmiths should be so cheap, especially since earth element has a negative armor summoner and water doesn't. Eventually, when Rebellion (the next card series) comes out or until Kelya gets rotated out of the starter cards, we will see a huge demand for wavesmiths surface as people start to seek protect cards in the water element again.
Rental Updates
Rentals have continues to increase over the past 24 hours, and now I'm looking at around 16000DEC of income a day from my CL card collection. I am still constantly reinvesting back into more cards, and dont plan to stop until the next airdrop milestone is reached.
What I'm doing now
Same old same old, buying wavesmiths and crystalsmiths. Hopefully I can get to 5000 BCX on these two types of cards before they run out of print. Although with the current print rate of cards slowing down so much I think that will take a long time to come to. Ill also need to buy more CL packs at some point in the future to qualify for the other airdrops that are coming...hopefully sooner than later. Well that's it for today, hope you've had a good read and see you tomorrow!
