Hi guys, this is my first time posting on hive. To be honest, I'm a little nervous... please let me know if there are any mistakes or questions. I will revise it quickly.
After I used Splintertool for two weeks, I'm pretty sure I'll be using it all the time. It's not a magical plugin - it's not that you can definitely win with it. But with this tool, playing Splinterlands will be a lot easier.
Building a deck for a short time is a very exhausting endeavor, and often results contrary to expectations. Splintertool can quickly help you do it. And it can provide a simulated win rate before the battle starts, so that the deck can be better adjusted.
1. View stats while building your deck
I finally don't have to spend time memorizing other people's historical battles. Seriously, I'm willing to spend 1hive/month for this alone.
In the past, I often had to go back to the previous page, restart match, just to see the opposite previous decks. Sometimes it even delays my deck building. Now I can finally build my deck while watching the opposing historical battles, no need to bother to memorize that information.
And this plugin provides more information - Daily quest , Available Summoners , More historical battles , And other people's historical battles... This allows me to fine tune my deck better , even sniping at those who are solving quest.
2. Use simulated winrates to Make the best decision
Which Summoner should I use? Melee, Range or Magic? How should I place cards?
We can only rely on experience to build a deck before. Sometimes there are many options, but you don't know which one is the best. Now with this tool, I can quickly adjust the deck by observing the simulated win rate without spending a lot of time thinking.
But be aware that this is only a simulated win rate. It's not entirely accurate, the most bug reports I've seen are asking why 100% win rate but lost. The point is to choose the best decks by winrate.
3. Avoid blind spots when building your deck
Why SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF placed in the front, the win rate has increased?
This case of the picture is actually simple : Monsters with high HP can take more attacks in front. If placed at the end, it will be unable to move when all the monsters in front are dead. I thought it was to prevent sneaking at first, only later found out that putting it in the front was to provide more damage.
In fact, this case is similar to the second point. We often make simple mistakes like this and never even notice. By simulating win rate, we can avoid blind spots when building our decks.
Splintertool is a great plugin. The creators are also continuously updating, adding more features - it even has a training tool. I think it's definitely worth paying 1hive to rent for a month. It probably doesn't increase the win rate by much (depending on the cards in many cases), but it makes the game easier for me.
