This time my goal is to share a summary of some highlights of the last week in Splinterlands, mainly about the quality of the rewards, and we will also analyze an epic card and the different ways to use it in the battles.

But first, I have to mention that in the last season (#150) I was able to accomplish some of my goals, that is to say, recover or improve my performance, besides entering again in the gold league, so I started the season better positioned. And in the current season (#151) I have maintained a similar performance, but this time I hope to climb more than expected.
Interesting rewards in the chests.
Although my focus is on upgrading most of the common and rare cards, however I tend to buy some epic cards occasionally or legendary cards, maybe this season I used a part of my rewards to continue searching for Olivia of the Brook. But I am impressed with the rewards you can get from the reward chests, especially the ones you get when you rank up in the rating.
I can't forget about the Glint store chests either, as in the last season I got several gold cards, plus some epic ones, but they have been quite beneficial including both types of rewards (Glint store chests and rating chests). Now let's take a look at some top 3 rewards revealed by opening a few chests.
In one of the store chests I only bought 4 chests and got 2 Arachne Weaver cards, normally getting these cards cost 15k Glint, so I got Arachne Weaver for a much lower cost. While in upgrade chests, I got Shock Trooper, but the best card I got was Endless Gibbon, the latter is a very useful legendary card in the water element.
The versatility of Halfling Refugee.
I think this week we can talk about the versatility of Halfling Refugee, so I can consider it as an important card of this week. This card being neutral can be used in teams of different elements, but beyond that, the best thing is its versatility, as it has several roles or uses, so for me, it is satisfying to have this card in level 2 and several copies of it. Let's look at some examples of the ways we can use Halfling Refugee.
- Use Halfling Refugee as a secondary card: In this battle this card worked as a complementary card, because it attacked from the second position, since the first attack card was Grund. We can also use this role of Halfling Refugee in the water element, but we must place the summoner Possibilus the Wise to generate attacks from the second position.
- Halfling Refugee as a decoy card: In many occasions, I use this card as a filler or decoy card, so it will be the first to face and take damage from the enemies. In this battle, I used Possibilus the Wise summoner, plus Giant Alpine Skink and Coastal Sentry. Also, an advantage is the amount of mana and life, as it can be summoned easily and can resist a few rounds.
- Halfling Refugee as main card: In this last battle we can see Halfling Refugee in a second position, but when Venari Marksrat is destroyed, then Halfling Refugee will increase its stats and advance to be the main card. By being in a team well complemented with life-boosting and long range cards, then it can perform in a better way.
⚔️.
This season, I hope it will be better than the last one, as I have many objectives to accomplish, and I am trying to improve my strategies. Next week we will look at another summary and analyze other important cards from the last rebellion edition.
