My thoughts so far - Land 1.5

in Splinterlands11 months ago (edited)

So after diving straight into land 1.5 on day 1 I'll go through some of my experience with the expansion.

I can't say I've experienced any bugs, but I have noticed a few things that could be tweaked (mostly related to 'stat' screens). Of course this is a work in progress, and as the dev's said themselves, if they kept tweaking it until it was perfect it would only delay the release further.

So having only managed to get a handful of plots during the pre-release, I have slowly been acquiring more over time. I currently have 59 plots with 50 productive and 9 waiting to be cleared. I also was fortunate to pick up a Keep by purchasing a few unsurveyed plots. The current asking price for a Keep on the market starts at around $3k USD.

50 of my 59 plots are productive ie they contain a building & produce grain, SPS, or Research tokens.

I have made sure I have as many research buildings as possible and so am currently 9th in Research points in the Shimmering Coasts region richlist:

I have my Keep currently receiving 39% tax. Although it is part of a region, a 'harvest all' request doesnt include the Keep which is done seperately. It appears the cost to harvest from a Keep is set at 1000 grain, regardless of your storage level/s. This doesnt appear to be mentioned in the current guide.

I am currently looking forward to Land 1.6 where the game gets more interesting with many new buildings and a market, in version 1.6

In my opinion, the devs have done really well with the game in its current state. It's an exiting time to be in Splinterlands.
