Hi there Splinterlovers and hivers! Having a great weekend I hope. It is Splinterlands Community Engagement challenge time so here I am again sharing my knowledge of the game. For this week's topic is about strategy to win a battle in splinterlands. Sharing your Secret in much more simpler term i believed. lol.
Okay enough of the jokes, to the guys planning to play splinterlands or guys just newly joined the fray, I will share some insights on how to build your deck, if you are planning to invest with cards or make your fixed rents, to the Water Splinters. For sure when you are going to spend time to the game you will have your bias cards that will literary be your no brainer team just to send to the battlefield. This will be a team that you will put your faith into. Grab the win with this team. Avoid the headache with this team. Anyways, My Water splinter that i am going to show you will be typically MAGIC attacking monsters that will have a solid wall upfront. Let's find out on how am i playing Magic based attacks on Water Splinters.
- The battle will have High Five and Target Practice as the rulesets in 37 Mana Capacity. A medium mana battle to me that will required only 5 monsters on the field and will add a snipe ability to the attackers of magic or range.
My Team
Cards | Position | Abilities in its Level with Rulesets |
---|---|---|
Summoner | ||
1st Position | ||
2nd Position | ||
3rd Position | ||
4th Position | ||
5th Position |
- My team was summoned by the Neutral Legendary Lux Vega for it is a boosted of health compared to Kelya Frendul ( i am also using this card if the Lux is restricted). Additional speed is what i sought the most here for the reason that i want to attack first as much as possible before my enemy. Because Magic damage is too little chance or no way to miss its target, i am convince that magicians are great way to grab a win in splinterlands battle as long they were not countered by the ruleset or restricted. Continuing to my team, Baakjira as my tank will just stay upfront doing nothing aside from covering my magicians and recovering itself. Since there is a SNIPE ability in both side, the most probable attacker of my tank will be the tank of the opposing team. Djinn Oshannus, with its Void ability, i placed it on the 2nd row to be next tank after the front collapse. This card is also a good one for it has a balanced characteristics of tank and a damage dealer. One of my played cards up to this day. Shock Trooper was used because i already i unlocked that Swiftness ability and has a good attacking damage. I just want to neglect its negative status. although troublesome, its still a good card i beleived. Nerissa Tridawn with that 5 magic damage will not miss my team. It even have a snipe ability now. Epic! :). Doctor Blight, a bully card to be honest and i believed so, but this card here although slow, it cannot be taken lightly for the reason that this card will avoid attacks until it will have enough life to get back at you. I didn't even mentioned those negative effects that it includes in its magic attacks. That completes my team and lets see what we re fighting and the result.
Battle:
I am against an Earth team that uses Quora that will be boosted by Martyr later on. And a level 2 Quora is no easy feat. But i feel i got the edge since i possess mostly maxed cards in my team. We'll see.
Okay, ending round 1 was also the end for the enemy's Mycellic spawn that got taunt ability. This is what i meant to grab the first attack to minimize the opponents damage in earlier round of the fight. Lets continue.
The battle ended in round 3. My team also suffered damages but as i chose Water splinters magician, they boasted high health specially Djinn and Nerissa, it is enough to survive the attacks.
I am also gonna inform you about my idea on using a martyr ability. Since this ability is not for the owner itself and to the next cards, you should let the card be sacrificed the soonest to activate that martyr earlier and be usable. Avoid using taunts or any thing that divert attacks to the martyr owner so it will be triggered.
And that is my Water splinters Magician team that i use mostly climbing ranks. I am not saying that this is the team that i like the most but i could say that i can grab a high chance of victory with this team as long there is no restricting the Magi that is.
