Good day Hivers and splinterlands lovers and players! Wishing everyone a great day and a good one! Joining community challenge for this time regards Survival Mode which was just updated earlier this season. So the players out there, have you ever tried it? i know its hard exploring new things but one thing is certain, the thrill is there! Let us try and explore the new feature of splinterlands called Survival mode.
Gameplay of Survival Mode
All cards are allowed, but when they’re defeated, they can’t be used anywhere—including brawls, land, tournaments, any format of ranked play, and so on—until they revive.
Playing in Survival Mode is a unique experience from the other Rank battles that we are used to in splinterlands. This will use all you kept cards until the last dropped because it will be a never ending battle if you have team to send to the field. It is also not restricted by the Card series because everything here is usable. Its a battle of wits and riches fellas! As long your card is not beaten, it can be send again in the battlefield. But take note, if it is being defeated, that would cost you days for regeneration until you can use it again.
Flag and Unflagging your Card in Survival Mode
When there are new things happening in your daily rituals, it is kind of annoying if you will adjust again and will affect your daily routine. This feeling is also applicable in gaming. Splinterlands Survival Mode is a new set up that will change what you used to in the game. But fret not, you can easily adjust this things in few clicks and you are good to go. You can always select cards that you see fit for the Survival mode gameplay so to not affect your old routine with your cards.
As you can see in the image above, you can toggle a specific card if you want to use it to play in Survival Mode or not.
The image above shows that you can filter the cards that you can use and will not use in the Survival mode. As long you set those specific cards that will not be used in Survival Mode, you can always filter them and update what ever you desire.
I have filtered some cards that where shown above as you can see, if you wish to update your cards, it will be done easily because Survival Mode buttons are already added in the filter in game.
If you think setting in in-game is a lot of work, try the other 3rd party market like Peakmonsters for the reason that they already have this Survival mode function. You can see in the filter as shown in the image above that the button for survival mode is there.
Rewards
At the moment the survival mode is not yet giving away any glint tokens for every win in the battle but its providing glint reward leaderboard every season as shown below.
SPS rewards in every battle won as i understand it is the same like in Modern and Wild rank battles. So the higher tier you move, the better the rewards.
- Currently this are the only things i can share with you guys regarding the Survival Mode. I am still exploring the new feature and i am a bit frustrated because i burn and sold cards that i think without use before. lol. Even so, we still have chance to accumulate again and be wise with what ever we are aiming here in our beloved game - Splinterlands!

Yeah its a new proble.... I mean new tactics and new ideas to be performed by the user. If you have a good set of cards just sitting in your account inventory, you should try survival mode for the non so usable cards in the other rank battles.
