YabapMatt Inspired Summoner Card

Here is my take on what I believe would be an amazing promo card for our incredible founder and CEO, Matt Rosen, AKA @yabapmatt.

And thank you to @bjangles from @thepeoplesguild for pushing me to get this one done.

Without further ado may I present the 8 mana dragon summoner, YabapMatt of the Jostile & Almyst!

YabapMatt Stats

• 8 Mana
• Dragon Element
• +1 to Magic
• Tank Heal
• Phoenix Rising (New Ability!)
• Tactics: Double Strike & Inspire (1) or +2 Speed & Backfire (3)

1. 8 Mana

At 8 mana he might not fit well into the lower mana cap battles, but you can bet that when you can he is well worth the spend on mana.

2. Dragon Element

Being a dragon summoner gives him incredible versatility in choosing the best element for each ruleset and mana cap, while also giving him access to the dragons.

3. +1 to Magic

At first glance you may think the +1 to magic doesn't necessarily synergize with his tactics, but I want you to picture YabapMatt going into battle with someone like Captain Fellblade and giving Fellblade the inspire and doublestrike... good luck defending this combo.

4. Tank Heal

We all know how powerful and clutch this ability on a summoner can be (just ask Kitty or Avina of the Wolf.

5. Phoenix Rising (New Ability)

When a friendly Unit dies from thorns, blast, backfire, magic reflect, retaliate or return fire, it is brought back to life with full Health. This ability can only trigger once per battle.

Tactics

You can choose to go all in on one unit with double strike and inspire or boost three of your units with +2 speed and backfire!

ALSO... Digitally Signed Copies!

2% of all Gold Foil YabapMatt of the Jostile & Almyst minted will also have an authentic incredibly rare digital signature on the card!

I can understand the wide scope of splinterland, thats why there are such summoners in splinterlands. Being Dragon unit summoner, it will be the favourite for all . Its new Phoenix Rising ability is great that brought back with full health. Optional tactics are really awesome.
Just polite query: Double strike tactics can be use for those monsters who have already double strike ability? If yes, then they will be eligible for 4 time attack? 😊😊
I am sure that there will be some condition for it.

A nice design and great card. However 8 mana is too steep. It will be good for high mana battles and maybe best for higher levels.

yeah, but for the OP abilities I gave the card, I figured it needed to be on the higher end.
