Booster Packs in Splinterlands

Booster packs are one of the most important products in Splinterlands, allowing players to acquire cards from the active series, Rebellion, using Credits or Dark Energy Crystals (DEC). Each booster pack contains cards with different rarity probabilities (Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary) and a chance to obtain cards in Gold Foil version. In addition, each pack guarantees at least one rare or higher rarity card.

Buying and Opening Booster Packs

• Acquiring: Packs can be purchased in the Splinterlands store, in the in-game market or in external markets such as Tribaldex.

• Opening: Players open packs in the Mana Well. Dragging a pack into the well triggers an opening animation that reveals the cards. To open multiple packs at once (up to 200), select the “open multiple” icon.

• Card Reveal: All cards in a pack can be revealed using the “Reveal All” button or by clicking on each card individually.

Booster Pack Tokenization

Tokenization allows packs to be transferred to external wallets, such as Hive-Engine and WAX, to be traded on other markets. Tokenization is done using the Transfer option on the Mana Well page or from the inventory. Once tokenized, the pack cannot be opened until it is transferred back to Splinterlands.

Booster Pack Boosters (Potions)

There are two types of potions to improve the odds when opening booster packs:

1. Alchemy Potion: Doubles the chance of getting Gold Foil cards (from 2% to 4%).

2. Legendary Potion: Doubles the chance of getting legendary cards (from 0.8% to 1.6%).

Potion charges are purchased in the Potion Shop and are applied individually to each card in the pack.
