The ruleset for this week's challenge
- Reverse Speed - Units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds. Attack Accuracy based on speed will also be reversed
The ruleset that I managed to get
- Rulesets - Melee Mayhem, Equalizer & Reverse Speed
- Mana Cap - 17
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Tarsa
- With the ruleset that I got I decided to go with melee based comp
- So that in mind the best summoner I had was Tarsa with his +1 melee damage and +1hp
1st Position: Furious Chicken
- Nothing really to say here other than why not play him he costs 0 mana when you have room for him of course
- And the idea for him was just to tank some hits and then while the others attacked from the backline
2nd Position: Cerberus
- Cerberus was my main tank for this battle
- Main reason I like Cerberus here a lot is his Heal ability
- Heal - Restores a third of the max health to this Unit's health each round
3rd Position: Radiated Scorcher
- Another low mana cost monster who could tank and also deal some damage
- I liked Radiated Scorcher here for two reasons, one was how many stats I got for only 1 mana and the other was his Shatter ability if my enemy should play monsters with armor
- Shatter - Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from Units with shatter
4th Position: Kobold Miner
- Next up in line is one lovely monster with Sneak even tho I didnt need it
- But 3 melee damage for 2 mana is big enough for this team
- Sneak - Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit
5th Position: Serpentine Spy
- Second to last is Serpentine Spy
- Also great card for low mana
- Opportunity - Units with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Unit with the lowest health
6th Position: Uraeus
- Uraeus was the last monster in my team
- Also super useful monster to play here as you get a lot of stats for low mana
- Sadly could only play him in level 3 which is without the Poison ability
- Sneak - Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit
Starting board
- The starting board didnt really say anything other than his team was a bit slower but in the same time with much less damage
- At that point the battle could go either way so to find out lets start it up and have a look
Here's how the battle went
1st & 2nd Round
- After first two rounds the battle was still open but I felt like I had a little advantage over my enemy
- But up to this point we both had only taken down one monster from either team
3rd Round
- 3rd Round was total disaster for me as I managed to miss half of my attacks
- But my enemy had only one monster left with full hp so if I managed to hit my attacks now the battle should be mine
4th Round
- Started of the round with a miss but managed to pick myself up and left my enemy with only one monster standing
- Now I was 100% sure I was going to win this battle it was just a matter of time when was the last monster going to fall
5th Round
- It took me 1 round to kill my enemies last standing monster
- After his Radiated Brute had fallen I took the victory
- Battle Replay Link
Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- I believe the battle came down to just me playing more low mana monsters with left me with more hp and more damage
