The ruleset for this week's challenge
- Rise of the Commons - Only common and rare units may be used in battles
The ruleset that I managed to get
- Rulesets - Earthquake, Unprotected & Rise of the Commons
- Mana Cap - 47
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Brighton Bloom
- With the ruleset that I got I had probably the best possible summoner for it, being Brighton Bloom
- As I wanted to counter Earthquake I had to deal with low level summoner and battling without any other buffs other than Flying
1st Position: Mycelic Infantry
- Mycelic Infantry was my main tank for this battle
- Main reason I like Mycelic Infantry here a lot is his Shield ability
- Shield - Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks
2nd Position: Mycelic Slipspawn
- Mycelic Slipspawn was my backup tank
- Also I liked him here because of his Taunt ability which allowed him to be in second position and still tank backline
- Taunt - All enemy Units target this Unit (if they are able to)
3rd Position: Mushroom Seer
- Next up was my try on countering a magic comp if my enemy decided to go with one
- Silence - Reduces the Magic attack of all enemy Units by 1
4th Position: Sand Worm
- As always if you have high mana cap battle Sand Worm is must
- For 9 mana Sand Worm is a hard hitter with 5 melee damage
- Sneak - Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit
5th Position: Wood Nymph
- Wood Nymph was my first healer for this team
- Even tho you do not get a lot of stats for 4 mana you do get a Tank Heal ability which is supper useful in my opinion
- Tank Heal - Restores a third of max health to the Unit in the first position each round
6th Position: Goblin Psychic
- And for my second healer it is Goblin Psychic
- He is a little bit pricier but you do get little more stats for it also
- Tank Heal - Restores a third of max health to the Unit in the first position each round
Starting board
- The starting board did not really say anything other than I needed to take down his Katrelba Gobson or I would definitely lose this battle
- From only this look at the board it was really hard to say which of us was going to win so lets start the battle up and have a look
Here's how the battle went
1st & 2nd Round
- Nothing interesting happened in the 1st Round
- After 2nd Round the battle was already over as in the start of the 3rd Round Earthquake was going to take down my enemies Katrelba Gobson who was his only potential damage dealer
- Up to this point I had only lost one of my monsters so I was sitting quite safe
- Looking at the board if I managed to hit every attack I had I was going to take the victory home in the next round so lets see how I did
3rd Round
- I managed to hit every attack I had in the 3rd round and with take take down my enemies last standing monster
- After his Pelacor Mercenary had fallen I took the victory
- Battle Replay Link
Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- I believe the Battle came down to huge summoner diff
- Also my enemy probably missed the Unprotected ruleset and waisted one monster with Protect to it
- If you also would like to hop on the Splinterlands train feel free to use my Referral
Thanks for reading and thanks for all the upvotes, reblogs, comments and follows. And till the next challenge, KEEP BATTLING!
