The Ruleset

image.png

  • Rulesets - Equal Opportunity
  • Mana Cap - 22
  • Active Elements - image.png image.png

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Mylor Crowling

  • With the ruleset and element pick that I needed someone with a low mana cost could counter melee and was in either earth or life element
  • So in my case I went with earth element and Mylor Crowling as he counters melee hard and costs only 3 mana
1st Position: Flesh Golem

  • Flesh Golem was my main tanks for this battle
  • Main reason I like Flesh Golem here a lot is his Heal ability
  • Also Flesh Golem has some amazing stats for being a 6 mana costs monster
  • Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down)
2nd Position: Fungus Fiend

  • Fungus Fiend was actually the last monster I picked for this team
  • The main reason I picked him was that he costed 0 mana as I had none left and I had a one free spot
3rd Position: Creeping Ooze

  • Creeping Ooze is one awesome card in my opinion
  • You get the amazing Slow ability for only one mana
  • He also acts like a small tank to block one or two hits
  • Slow - -1 speed to all enemy units
4th Position: Mushroom Seer

  • Next up in line is my small security plan to counter magic comp if my enemy should play one
  • Mushroom Seer does not have the greatest stats for a 5 mana but he does have the Silence ability which I really like
  • Silence - -1 magic power to all enemy units
5th Position: Wood Nymph

  • Wood Nymph was my only healer for this team
  • The plan behind her and my Flesh Golem was to out heal my enemies damage therefore I only need one tank in the front line
  • Tank Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position
6th Position: Hill Giant

  • Hill Giant was my backline tank for this battle
  • As Equal Opportunity does not override Sneak I needed someone to tank the possible backline damage and Hill Giant was perfect for that
  • You get a lot of stats for 3 mana and paired with Equal Opportunity he was able to attack from the last position as well

Starting board

image.png

  • The starting board was looking quite promising
  • I was going to outheal my enemies Quora Towershead damage so no Bloodlust take downs for him
  • And his Magi of Chaos had two targets to take out before he gets to my monster how really matter and in that time I should be able to take him out
  • But my predictions could still be off by a mile so lets start the battle and have a look

image.png

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

image.png

  • After first round went decently good for me
  • I lost one monster but managed to deal 5 damage to his backline magic monster
  • Next round I will be loosing my Creeping Ooze but should get his Magi of Chaos back for it
2nd Round

image.png

  • After 2nd Round the battle seemed decided
  • I managed to take out his Magi of Chaos and already damaged his Quora Towershead a great amount
  • Now I just needed to wait 1 or 2 rounds to claim my victory as I outheal my enemies total damage
3rd Round

image.png

  • His Quora Towershead managed to survive with only 1 hp
  • But nothing to worry about it just makes the battle one round longer and gives me a chance to feel the victory even more
4th Round

image.png

  • It took me couple of attacks to kill my enemies last standing monster as he managed to heal in the first turn of round 4
  • After his Quora Towershead had fallen I took the victory
  • Battle Replay Link

Summary

  • This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
  • The strategy to take away from this battle is the basic double heal setup
  • It is also worth to note I managed to craft a team which has double heal, counters magic and melee, slows enemy and has a front and backline tanks, all of this in only 22 mana

Sad news about your Reddit account. I can understand how you feel about it. However, that can happen to anybody if you are active in sharing links.

I really appreciate how many subreddits you've discovered and how many Hive authors you've incentivized with 20% HivePosh rewards. Hope you'll come back to HivePosh when you feel recovered after this mad week when you invested in HivePosh so much time and got no prize in return.

You can choose a slower pace of sharing links with the focus on quality rather than quantity of links to avoid emotional burnout and have more guarantees that your Reddit account will be okay. I did it myself 2 weeks ago. This week, I shared only 4 links and simply was lucky with one of them.

Ohh yeah :((

Honestly do not even know fully why I got suspended. Did not get any warnings or letters after explaining why and for how long. But I do agree I did look a little like a bot trying to find new subs :) hah (that was more fun for me than just grinding same and same subs every time.

Sadly seems like Reddit is not really friendly about people just sharing links (never been a big fan of reddit so I did not know how hard they are going to be). I did find a couple of subs I liked more than the others so will probably start posting only into these ones when I return.

I will probably take a week or two off as I am working 12h days for a couple more weeks and do not have the power or time to make things right again. At least I am still welcomed back, that is always great to hear!!

For the future would you say the next best step to take is to make a new reddit acc (if I do not get my old one back) and link that one to my hive (is it possible)? See you all in a couple of weeks, keep grinding you are doing amazing!!! Lets get Hive into a bigger picture!!

Most probably, they suspended your account because it had many shared links (often several daily) and almost zero other activity. From here:

If you submit mostly your own links and your presence on reddit is mostly for your self-promotion of your brand, page, blog, app, or business, you are more likely to be a spammer than you think!

So: comment, re-post, and post something without links (your mobile pix, for example). It actually doubles the work. :( I myself follow this strategy but not that actively - often too tired of computer work to even upload something to Reddit.

So... the best way is to shift from quantity to quality to a certain extent, to find a balance between the two.

For the future would you say the next best step to take is to make a new reddit acc (if I do not get my old one back) and link that one to my hive (is it possible)?

If you are busy anyway, don't remove your current Reddit account from hiveposh.com to be sure to get all the rewards for your previous activity. I don't know for sure (I am not the dev who created the program) but logic says that if you unlink your current account, you might lose the unpaid rewards made with the current account. Wait a week from your last Reddit activity of yours and then link a new Reddit account.
