The Ruleset

- Rulesets - Wands Out & Armored Up
- Mana Cap - 30
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Immortalis
![](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Immortalis_lv2_gold.png)
- With the ruleset and element pick that I got I only had one summoner in mind
- That summoner was the one and only Immortalis
- Immortalis was possible the best summoner I could have played here as he grants -1 hp which is always good in a every battle, Void which is absolutely amazing in Wands Out battle and for last but not least Shatter which was also great in this battle if my enemy should play monsters with Void Armor as Armored Up was active in this battle
- Void - 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power
- Shatter - Successful attacks destroy the target's armor
1st Position: Mycelic Slipspawn
![](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Mycelic%20Slipspawn_lv4.png)
- Mycelic Slipspawn was my main tanks for this battle
- Main reason I like Mycelic Slipspawn here a lot is his Taunt ability
- Secondly his Forcefield ability will counter monsters like Ifrit Rising, Suidae Shaman and Temporal Master as they can deal more than 5 damage in a single attack
- Taunt - Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units in the first position
- Forcefield - Attacks dealing 5 base damage or more instead deal 1 damage
2nd Position: Goblin Psychic
![](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Goblin%20Psychic_lv5.png)
- Goblin Psychic was my first healer for this battle
- Secondly Goblin Psychic was great for this battle as he also had the Affliction ability which meant I countered enemy healers if he should play any
- Tank Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position
- Affliction - 50% chance to apply Afflicted after a successful attack. Afflicted units cannot be healed
3rd Position: Mushroom Seer
![](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Mushroom%20Seer_lv2.png)
- For the third monster in my team was my secret weapon for this battle
- Mushroom Seer is an amazing monster at countering your enemies magic comp and as only magic monsters were allowed I could not miss with this pick
- In this battle my summoners Void + Mushroom Seers Silence would possible lower the damage intake to a point my two healers could out heal the whole damage
- Silence - -1 magic power to all enemy units
4th Position: Wood Nymph
![](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Wood%20Nymph_lv3.png)
- For last but not least was my second healer
- Even tho his stats are not as great as Goblin Psychic stats he does cost 2 mana less and also has the amazing Tank Heal ability which I was after
- Wood Nymph also took me to 30 mana so this was my whole team for this battle and I was quite happy with it
- Tank Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position
Starting board
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/dkkfrodo/23tbMYh11rD4wMXHfG38sFgYMgr4VeraQhgKsSFMu7Tvu6KxzPubsuLroas1pUjWseeJU.png)
- Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would win because my summoner was higher level and therefor also my monsters were higher level
- Secondly I had Silence which my enemy did not have that meant I could damage my enemies monsters but there was no way my enemy was going to damage my monsters
- As this battle was over from the start already lets go over the round quite quickly and highlight some of the key rounds
Here's how the battle went
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Round
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/dkkfrodo/23tbKBMqxjukq85cNj3WZMu4n3TSg83m7V8UzEPFNp3M6X7QmbWn9rzpBBZXQdPtZ7oRo.png)
- After first 5 rounds the board was still looking quite the same as in the start
- I had finally managed to take down my enemies Mycelic Slipspawn
- It took so much time as I just could not hit my Affliction and also because I could only do 3 damage per round
- But him out of the way the battle should end little quicker
6th & 7th Round
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/dkkfrodo/23tRvNGCCRQUqMnXQoqZk8unu8EmnkjMVs6C1QHH7LgnfWP8ZqVCYC3Cju6Vc6qgnbEZc.png)
- In the next two rounds I took down the next two enemy monsters including his healer
- Now I just needed to wait for the start of the next and final round and then claim my victory as he only had 3 hp left and I had exactly 3 damage
8th Round
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/dkkfrodo/23tRvMuLN9bDZtAzoaVBn915GTTyLwhZcYTdqkehfmWbUNa6KHRg638zR5gXiWB78ZbBj.png)
- It took me the whole round to kill my enemies last standing monster
- After his Magi of Chaos had fallen I took the victory

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch as I got to play possible one of the best teams in this ruleset battle
- The strategy to take away from this battle is the basic Void, Silence and double Tank Heal ability combo in Wands Out ruleset battles

This tactic looks strong with the Wands Out Ruleset. Unfortunately I dont have Immortalis and Mushroom Seer. 😅
I can confirm both are also great in any other battles so worth to get your hands on some copies if you have a chance.
You are probably right, maybe I will buy some.
