The Ruleset
- Rulesets - Standard
- Mana Cap - 21
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Franz Ruffmane
- For this battle the ruleset was extremely simple, Standard ruleset so no restrictions, 21 mana cap which so quite low and only Life was active
- First I was thinking of going with a lowest mana possible summoner but I could not come up with a great team what so ever
- So in my case I went with Franz Ruffmane even tho he costs 6 mana
- Mainly went with him because the +1 armor is huge in low mana cap battles were enemies mostly do not have a lot of damage and the +1 armor to all buffs your whole team quite a lot
1st Position: Drybone Barbarian
- Drybone Barbarian was my main tanks and damage dealer for this battle
- I usually do not like to play him as I just think he is not the strongest and costs way to much but in this battle I was hoping that his Retaliate would make him attack a lot more than my enemy therefore taking my enemies team out before he falls
- Enrage - +50% melee power and speed (rounded up) if not at full health
- Retaliate - 50% chance to counterattack successful melee attacks, even if defeated
2nd Position: Stitch Leech
- I played Stitch Leech here as he just has so many stats for a low mana
- It is not usual that I get to play 3 mana monster with 3 attack damage in my league
- Sneak - Targets the enemy unit in the last position
3rd Position: Divine Healer
- Divine Healer was my only healer but no the less important
- The only reason I picked him was that she could hold my Drybone Barbarian alive long enough for him to take out all of the enemies team
- Also she was a great pick as he only costs 3 mana which is really important in a low mana cap battle
- Tank Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position
4th Position: Furious Chicken
- For last but not least is an obvious Furious Chicken
- Nothing really to say here other than why not play him I had 0 mana left and room for a extra monster
- He was here mainly to block the first attack to the backline form my enemy if he decided to play Sneak or something
Starting board
- After seeing the starting board I was quite scared as my enemy had a strong summoner and a lot of backline damage which would take out my healer in a couple of rounds
- My only chance to win this battle was to hope of my Drybone Barbarian Retaliate to deal some real damage right away and therefore take the risk off my healer dying
- Hopefully my worries are nothing and I managed to pull of a miracle somehow, lets find out
Here's how the battle went
1st & 2nd & 3rd Round
- After the first three rounds my concerns were coming to life and the battle did not look happy for me
- I had lost my backline Chicken and healer while taking back only his first monster
- Even tho hopes were low at this point I still saw a chance in this battle so we will continue and hope for the best
4th & 5th Round
- 4th and 5th Rounds very so huge for me
- I manage to take down both of his damage dealers without losing any of my monsters
- At this point my heart was pumping but the battle was not over yet
- Even tho hope came back I was still scared as he still had 2 damage left on the board
6th & 7th & 8th Round
- It took me 3 rounds till I finally managed to take down his final damaging monster and therefore secure my victory
- Now hopefully I just needed to wait for the start of the next round and then face my victory with a smile
9th Round
- It took me both attacks to kill my enemies last standing monster
- After his Chaos Agent had fallen I took the victory

Summary
- This battle looked already lost in the 3rd round but I managed to pull off an amazing comeback
- There is not much to take away from this battle as I just got extremely lucky but I guess so can you so do not lose hope even when it looks like there is not way for a victory

Low mana battles are always a challenge for me, but the lineup you used is very effective! I'll consider it for future battles under similar conditions. Regards.
