Summoner Kelya Frendul in action - Splinterlands Battle.

Kelya Frendul in action.png

Kelya Frendul is a Summoner Card from the Water Deck that has an important role in battles, it gives +1 Agility to your cards and this makes them have a better chance to attack first and also give +1 shield to all cards. your cards that will be an important defense against melee and ranged attacks because these attacks will attack the card's shield first and not its life. With these 2 important roles Kelya Frendul is one of my favorite summoners and one of the reasons I use the water deck a lot in my battles in Splinterlands.

But a summoner doesn't win battles alone, he only has the important function of helping his cards by giving them buffs. To win battles you will need monster cards that will be your main cards in battles and for the water deck there is a very wide variety of cards to use. For the battle that I will show in this Share Your Battle weekly challenge, in addition to Kelya Frendul I used 6 other cards that are:

Hardy Stonefish occupying the first position and being a melee card that has no abilities at level 1.

Flying Squid occupying the second position and being a melee card with the Reach ability that makes it capable of attacking from the second position.

Deeplurker occupying the third position and being a melee card with the Opportunity ability that makes him attack the opposing card with the lowest health.

Ice Pixie occupying the fourth position and being a card with magic attack that has the ability Flying, which increases its chances of dodging attacks from other cards that do not have this ability.

Xenith Archer occupying the fifth position and being a ranged card that has no abilities at any level.

Angelic Mandarin occupying the sixth position and being a ranged card that has no abilities at level 1.

All are great cards, especially when the Mana Cap is not very high, which in this battle is 25.

The battle took place in the bronze league and the deck used by my opponent is the health deck.

Link Battle

First Round:

Both sides have shields on their cards, my cards got shield from summoner Kelya Frendul and my opponent's got shield from Truthspeaker card and for both it was very useful because most of my cards are melee and ranged, and my opponent's too.

My first defense which was the Hardy Stonefish card didn't have much health so it was defeated in the first round. My opponent's Shieldbearer card has the Taunt ability which makes it the target of attacks so it was his only card that suffered damage this round.

Second Round:

My Flying Squid card took over the defense of the first position and managed to resist well in the battle, in this round it was not defeated and my opponent's Shieldbearer card that was the target of all my attacks ended up being defeated and making Celestial Harpy take the first position.

Third Round:

The Flying Squid card kept trying to defend in the first position but took a lot of damage and was defeated. My opponent's Celestial Harpy that occupied the first position had low health so it should be an easy target, but she also had the Flying ability that increased her chances to dodge so she managed to dodge the attack of 2 of my cards and not was defeated in this round.

Fourth Round:

The Deeplurker is now occupying the first position and the Celestial Harpy card is defeated by the Ice Pixie that has magic attack so it always hits its target, now my opponent's Truthspeaker occupies the first position and it is the card responsible for the shield of the cards of the my opponent so as soon as she is defeated his cards lost their shield.

Fifth Round:

Ice Pixie defeats the Truthspeaker card causing my opponent's cards to lose the shield they had and his Pelacor Arbalest card occupies the first position but because it is a ranged card it cannot attack and is soon defeated by the Deeplurker, making the Stitch Leech, which is my opponent's last card to occupy the first position, Deeprluker is also defeated and makes Ice Pixie occupy the first position.

Sixth Round:

Stitch Leech is my opponent's last card and I still have 2 cards in the battle but one of them is a ranged card so if Ice Pixie is defeated I will lose the battle because my Xenith Archer card will not be able to attack.

Both Ice Pixie and Xenith Archer cards damage Stitch Leech but can't defeat him and now it's his turn to attack and my Ice Pixie has only 1 health so it's a decisive moment in the battle, but I was very lucky and Ice Pixie manages to dodge the attack so I still have a chance to win the battle.

Seventh Round:

The Ice Pixie card attack Stitch Leech and as he had only 1 life he was defeated and so the victory is on my cards.

What do I like about the Kelya Frendul card?

She is an excellent summoner for battle because increasing the agility of my cards is something very useful and in this battle it made my cards have a chance to attack first and even defeat my opponent's cards before they are able to attack, she it also makes my cards gain 1 shield and this is also very useful because in most battles my opponent uses melee or ranged cards and the shield will serve as a defense for their attack, so I consider her an amazing summoner for battles and always I use it when I use the water deck.
