Today my #Splinterlands #Play2Earn grind paid off decently well!
It has been a little while since my daily rewards turned something even half decent so I have not been sharing them with anyone. Today I am happy to break that chain and provide some decent content.
With it being the holidays I need to keep this post short since I am visiting family and can't stay away for too long.
Daily Quest
Today I had one of the easier and quicker to finish daily quests, the No Neutrals rule which only needs 3 wins to complete.
There seems to always be one or two games where I go quick and pick a common setup that includes a strong neutral, Furious Chicken, or Creeping Ooze that ruins the quest credit, but eventually it gets completed.
Collection Power Rental
I first had to rent a bit of power to get up to Silver I which allowed me to have an extra 2 chests since I am only in Silver III on my own power.
Renting a gold foil Diamond Dragon got me the bulk of the power boost needed and also gives me a card to try for the first time. I rented this late enough in the day that I should be able to utilize the power again for tomorrow's daily quest which helps justify the rental cost.
Daily Rewards
So... What did I Get?
Opening the chests, I was delighted to see a Gold Foil Pelacor Bandit and a Venari Wavesmith!
These cards have dropped in value over the past 2 months or so, but they are still good cards and should find their way back to their old higher values and even more over time.
This I consider to be a pretty decent daily reward and helps solidify the #Play2Earn mantra of #Splinterlands.
