¡Let's prepare for tournament battle!
Splinterlands Tournaments are an exciting way for Battle Mages to compete for fame and fortune. Whether you're an experienced player or just starting out, tournaments offer a variety of formats and challenges, making them accessible to players of all skill levels. With customizable rules, leagues, and prizes, each tournament is a unique opportunity to test your strategy and skills.
At the top of the Tournaments page, you'll find filters to help you navigate the wide selection of events. You can sort by type, league, format, card sets, and prizes, ensuring you find a tournament that suits your playstyle. The list of events below the filters provides all the details you need: the type of tournament, when it starts, who created it, the rules for participation, and what rewards are up for grabs.
Anytime Tournaments: These allow players to send their teams whenever it is convenient for them, whether it be for one or two rounds. Players must register before the start time, and missed battles will be counted as losses.
Single-Elimination Tournaments: These live tournaments feature bracket elimination. Players are paired up and must win a series of battles to advance.
Sit N Go Tournaments: These can be anytime or single-elimination. They start automatically when the maximum amount of players is reached or at the scheduled time. No registration is required.
Each tournament has entry requirements, such as having a certain amount of SPS staked or Gathering Power, and these requirements must be met to participate. Make sure you have the necessary summoners and units, as the level of your summoner will determine the level of your units. Pay attention to league level caps, which vary by tournament format, to ensure your deck is ready for battle.
Prizes in Splinterlands tournaments may include tokens like DEC and SPS, which are automatically distributed after the event. Some tournaments offer special rewards like cards, booster packs, lands, or totems, which may be distributed manually by the event creator. If you're ever missing a prize, you can contact the tournament sponsor for assistance.
Whether you're competing for glory or looking to fine-tune your strategies, tournaments are an essential part of the Splinterlands experience. Dive in, master the mechanics, and you might just walk away with some awesome rewards!
