Hello Fellows Splinterlanders!
Welcome back to my advices for CHEAP CARDS, last week I shared with you my analysis on a double deck Dragon-Water super cheap. Today I am back to share with you more cards to add to that comp that will boost your win rate and will get you out of Silver-Gold.
Link here to the previous decks, please use them together. (Yes click me!!)
Like last time we will go through CHEAP CARDS! + Rentable cards to counter many teams and rules
- Scavo Hireling: 0.12$ repair card. Strong with Kelya and water cards, since many water tanks have good armor in these teams.
- Goblin Mech: 0.76$ this guy is a beast in games where all Melee atk from everywhere or Full team Sneak rule.
- Elven Defender:0.4$ you have it for free thanks to spell book. Good in ruleset Basic Monster, Solid stats
- Creeping Ooze: $0.8$ one of my favourite card you can literally drop it everywhere (unless Slow Ruleset). Kelya +1 Bonus Speed with this guy enhance your opportunity to dodge every single atk.
- Uraeus: 1$ USD, rent it lvl 3 if you have summoner level 4 (Kelya)
- Parasitic Growth: King of Slow Ruleset
- Sand worm: 1.7$ Slow, fast, whatever game over 30 mana this card is a must. I see it 60% of the games, underrated price.
- Gelatinous Cube: 3$ dollar mark here. Put it in 2-3rd position in poison game, he will do the rest.
- Onyx Sentinel level 3: 0.02$ a day rent. 5 mana, double counter melee and mage. You can drop it in every game.
- Doctor Blight level 2: 0.04$ a day rent. I don't actually care about being magic. Poison, affliction at 4 mana. No brain.
- Almo Cambio level 2: 0.05$ a day rent. They pick water mage? They pick earth mage? They pick mage? ALMO IS YOUR GUY!
I would like to ask you a question at this point... have you noticed that all the cards I share are from the Untamed-Chaos Legion expansion? I am building your deck to make you the masters of the NEW FORMAT.
WE ARE GOING TO SHINE GUYS!

I like your strategy posts, thanks for sharing! I'm a newbie (since October) and have been ending seasons at silver 1 or gold 3, but was recently struggling against bots in the beginning of the seasons, until I read your water strategy article! I now not only win with water as I understood some strategy elements that I use with other splinters. Hope to see other posts of yours on strategies applicable also in lower leagues! Cheers!
Hello @lordflu ! I am glad to hear that you managed to improve with this easy strategy and thank you for your follow! For sure you will see more guides coming in the next days. Honestly I was looking towards building a strategy antibot but it's a lot since I don't play in bronze :( I will try soon!!
Looking forward to your next strategy posts! On the anti-bot strategy, what worked for me was to use the free deck, focus on a variety of attacks/abilities and study the bot's past games (usually, they will repeat the same cards for the same mana cap). Not these pesky bots play also on Silver 3 - but here, with higher mana caps and two types of rules per game, it's much easier to beat them.
