Serpentine Spy is essential for fire splinter. I play it unless 99 mana allows more expensive cards.
Screeching Vulture is also pretty good for some reason, but it's usually just a filler for the flesh golem and wood nymph combo, or a niche pick for earthquake rulesets.

Exactly! Serpentine Spy is a must! And Vulture is indeed a great addition to golem... The only job for Flesh Golem is to stay alive as long as possible, and Vulture will do the rest :)
