Hey Guys.
Hope you are doing well!
And today I'll be discussing the battles that I've played to take participation in the weekly share your battle challenge of this week which is arranged by @splinterlands.
I'm a complete newbie in photoshop. I've bought a course and got the chance to only finish 1st 3 videos. And all I've learned I've used it to make this thumbnail. It's not as good as others. But, I hope you'll like it.
The challenge of this week's contest is that you need to use a monster named Pirate Captain in your lineup and win the battle. Then you'll need to share your post also on social media. You'll also need to answer some questions that @splinterlands asked in their announcement post of the contest. Like your lineup, strategy, using/liking the card, etc. I'll be sharing my side of the story, how I learned to play by following some specific rules, how I actually started winning matches with PIRATE CAPTAIN, etc.
The Pirate Captain.
The overall reason behind losing all those battles was I didn't have any second plan/strategy where I use the Pirate Captain in my lineup without any new plan/strategy. I just combined it with my old strategy. But, when I made a plan for it, winning became easier. Now, let's talk about my battle.
My Battle

My opponent was using a water summoner named MOTHER KHALA and I was using a fire summoner named ALRIC STORMBRINGER.
My Lineup:
In my lineup I've used mostly the cards that have the magic attacking ability. It's because my summoner can increase the magic attacking ability of every friendly monster by +1. In the 1st position, I've used the Serpent Of Eld. I use this card in almost every battle and I put it in 1st position always. The dodge ability of this card really comes in handy during battle. Then I used my magic cards. I put Medusa in 2nd position because it has more life than the Ice Pixie that I've used in the 3rd position. Then I used another magic card. This card is a neutral monster and it can play under any summoner. The name of this card is Elven Mystic. And then I've used the PIRATE CAPTAIN. The snipe ability of this card was really useful. And as ranged attacking monsters can't attack when it's in the first position. I put in the last position. And then in the end I used the Water Elemental. This card has become my most favorite ranged attacking monster. It has 2 damage capabilities, fast attacking speed. And mainly the healing ability of this card. It's really useful against sneak attacks that start attacking from the end of the line.
Splinterlands has also asked that if I use this card often. Well, as a new player I haven't got the chance to use it before. But from now on I'm sure I'll be using it in most of my battles. Also, I'm looking forward to upgrading this card to a higher level. Because, when I checked its stats. I was amazed to see its attacking speed, increased range attacking ability, increased life, and also it gets another ability named inspire. This ability gives every friendly monster with melee attacking ability +1 melee damage power. It'll be a great help once I upgrade it. I think.
