Hey Guys.
I have a piece of good news to share.
I've already there it in my previous post that I've just joined splinterlands, I don't own any cards, I'm playing with the free cards that have and as a newbie, it's being too hard for me to win many battles. I've shared all of these topics there in detail. But, the good news is now I don't have any problems. I even completed another daily quest. I'm getting the hang of the game the more I'm playing it.
And today I'll be discussing the battles that I've played to take participation in the weekly share your battle challenge.
The challenge of this week's contest is that you need to use a monster named Goblin Shaman in your lineup and win the battle. Then you'll need to share your post also on social media. You'll also need to answer some questions that @splinterlands asked in their announcement post of the contest. Like your lineup, strategy, using/liking the card, etc. I'll be sharing my side of the story, how I learned to play by following some specific rules, how I actually started winning matches with goblin shaman, etc.
The Goblin Shaman.
To be honest, at first, I thought this card is not going to be useful in battles. Cause my card is only in its 1st level and it doesn't have any attacking abilities. But when I used this monster in my first battle. I saw its capability and how it took down 1 life from every enemy monster without even hitting them. Though I wasn't able to win the match. But, I really liked the performance of this monster. I'm adding two screenshots below. You'll be able to see my winning and losing battles of mine from there.
The reason behind losing all those battles was I didn't have any second plan/strategy where I use the Goblin Shaman in my lineup. But, when I made a plan for it, winning became easier. Now, let's talk about my battle.
My Battle

My opponent was using a water summoner named ALRIC STORMBRINGER and I was using a fire summoner named MALRIC INFERNO.
My Lineup:
My lineup was pretty simple. I used the Cerberus in the first position which also has the ability to heal itself and worked as a good defense. Then I used the Goblin Shaman. The Weaken ability of this monster helped to reduce the life of the opponent's monsters and this made it easy for my monsters to kill them. Also in round 2, after the death of the Cerberus the goblin shaman hold the attacks of the enemy which helped my Serpentine Spy which was positioned in the 3rd position to take down the enemy. The Serpentine Spy is a good card, but it possesses only 1 life. And it makes it weak as a defense. If it wasn't for the Goblin Shaman it would have been dead on the first attack which came from the enemy's ENCHANTED PIXIE. And the Fire Beetle standing, in the end, would not be of any help too. Cause it's a ranged attacking card and it can't do anything while positioned in the first position. So, all thanks to the Goblin Shaman that I was able to win the match.
Splinterlands has also asked that if I use this card often. Well, as a new player I haven't got the chance to use it before. But from now on I'm sure I'll be using it in most of my battles. Also, I'm looking forward to upgrading this card to a higher level. Because, when I checked its stats. I was amazed to see its attacking speed, magic attacking ability, increased life, and also it has another ability named slow. It'll be a great help once I upgrade it. I think.
