Battles of The Day: Bramble Pixie [ENG-ESP]

Bramble Pixie PORTADA.png

As I have said several times, one of my favorite Splinterlands skills is "Reach", in many of my battles and especially in those where we are forced to use Melee type cards I always intend to use a card with this ability, it is very useful and serves as support for the card that is in first position. There are many cards with this type of ability, many are better and more useful than others and the main card of today is a card that I consider to be very good in that aspect, although its speed stat is extremely slow, with only one (1) point of speed, even so, it is a card that compensates several of its shortcomings with a good amount of life points, which makes this card resistant to a considerable amount of damage, that is why today's post is dedicated to the card of the EARTH deck: Bramble Pixie.

Since in this first battle I could not use any Magic Attack type card, I chose to use only Melee type cards, since I did not even use any Magic Attack type card (well, there is one card that does not even have any attack stat). Therefore, the strategy for this first battle was the following: In first position I placed a card that both offensively and defensively is spectacular, that card is: Pelacor Mercenary, which has very high and balanced stats, so it makes this card quite effective against Melee and Ranged Attack type, thanks to its high stats of life points and shield, but in addition, it also has the ability "Flying", so it makes it a very evasive card. In second position is the main card of today: Bramble Pixie, which as I mentioned at the beginning, this is a card that has one of my favorite skills: "Reach", the only drawback I have with this card is its low stat in speed, but although it can be "fixed" using a card that improves that stat, even so I would have liked Bramble Pixie to have a little more speed points at the beginning.

In the next two positions, that is, positions three (3) and four (4) respectively, are cards with the ability "Opportunity" (another of my favorite skills) and those cards are: Screeching Vulture and Venari Scout, which despite being cards that have slightly lower life stats, the importance of these cards in this type of strategies have always seemed to me very utilices, in addition, they are usually cards with a high speed, so they have even more advantage. But to boost that speed, in the penultimate position is a card with the ability "Swiftness" and it is not Spirit Miner, it is another card that I have been using a lot and that several times has been the substitute card for Spirit Miner due to its great useful ability, that card is: Clockwork Aide, a card that doesn't have any damage stat (at least at LVL 1) and that is able to resist Melee and Ranged Attack type damage, although it is extremely weak against Magic Attacks, since it only has one (1) health point. And to close this formation, in the last position is a classic card of the Neutral types, that card is: Sand Worm, which is a very powerful card that has the "Sneak" ability.

BATTLE 1

In this second battle the strategy was totally different, because this time I could use Magic Attack type cards, therefore, the formation of this battle is composed with cards of that style, being the formation for the second battle as follows: In first position is the only legendary card, at least for now, that I have obtained from these new Rewards cards, that card is: Terraceous Hulk, a card of the Melee type and a card that I like to call "tank cards", par excellence due to its high level of resistance to any type of attack, a very powerful card and that I will certainly keep in my collection, so I hope to get several Terraceous Hulk cards. In second position is logically the protagonist card of today: Bramble Pixie, card of which I have already spoken enough in this post and that I consider a good card, but that has your nuances. As I had already mentioned, this second battle is composed of several cards of the Magic Attack type and that is why in the next three positions there are cards of that type.

Being the first of them and occupying the third position is: Regal Peryton, an excellent card of the Magic Attack type, a very evasive card, not only for its high level of speed, with 6 points in LVL 3, but it is also a card that has the ability "Flying", so it is very warn against any attack, except Magic Attacks. And to boost that speed and all the cards in this formation, in the fourth position is a card that does not need much introduction: Spirit Miner, which thanks to its ability, is able to improve the speed of all my cards, especially Terraceous Hulk, which has only one (1) point of speed, Bramble Pixie and the card that is in the penultimate position. Which is: Goblin Psychic, another excellent card of the Magic Attack type that has abilities such as: "Affliction", which is a good ability, but the ability that I get the most out of this card is: "Tank Heal", which is always useful. And to close this formation, in the last position is a card of the Rank Attack type that has one of my favorite abilities: "Stun" and that card is: Uloth Dhampir.

BATTLE 2

Bramble Pixie SEPARADOR.png

Bramble Pixie SEPARADOR.png

Those cards as tank are great Terraceous Hulk is a very important card in first positions, it has a great melee attack, the way you used each tank and how you set up the rest of the decks in all your battles is a good strategy, I realize you are gold league, I want to get there.

What league are you currently in?

I'm so I've only reached bronze II

I understand. And have you been able to get good rewards in that league?

Well, I have only managed to get a single card of a rare summoner, that is to say that I have only managed to win some chests in the ranking, but when I opened them I only got a NFT, I have to look for cards that will help me to increase my power and thus be able to move up in the league.
