How do I brawl with my guild? Also it says I cant contribute for a week in my guild.. What is this all about? Help me hive!!!!
I like the game overall. I maxed out my energy , I also spend 3k glint on a gold foil card. it says its worth $2.99. Time to get my card collection rolling! Thank you hive for your support! Lets grow!
For the brawls, make sure that you communicate with the other members on which fray to take. If you're new, let them guide you.
Contribution is done by donating GP to the building that your guild is currently working on (again, you have to be in communication with your guild to know which one that is). You an get GP on the "Buildings" tab itself, but you need DEC for that.

As a tip: Don't spend your glint on gold foil cards in the beginning! Use it to get all the common cards in regular foil. When you have all of those, try to get all the rare cards. When you have both common and rare, start leveling them up so you can play in a higher league in your guild.
Also, I recommend getting Discord. Some guilds have active chatrooms there, but even if not, you can do groupchats, and follow the splinterlands discord-channel. There, too, you can find a lot of information.

Keep in mind that this is a Soulbound Reward card and you still have to pay a certain amount in DEC to be able to trade the cards! That's why it's not worth $2.99 straight away, but only once it's tradable and you've paid the DEC for it.

If you are in a Guild that has the ability to participate in Brawls, you can simply jump on a free Spot during preparation phase, which should start later today. Some Guilds also organize themselves in the sense of who can take which spot.
Once the Brawl start, you play matches against other guilds. Afterwards, you will get rewards based on your ranking.

You are renting your cards for WAY too much money. I've already seen this twice. 5 or 8 days of renting you spend the same amount of money that would buy you the cards!
You can rent most of them for 0.1 DEC per day, yet you pay 97 DEC per Day.
Please check out peakmonsters.com - it's a 3rd party website for card management, rentals and a lot more. It will help you get best prices and not be screwed by someone.
Edit: I just learned that peakmonsters displays set rentals in a wrong way. You pay 97 DEC/day for the entire set?
So I got 3.5k coins after I purchased the spell book. I used 1k of the coins to rent the cards for the rest of the season.
I don't think so, but some people have multiple HIVE Accounts. I'm asking, because now I can look at your collection and maybe delegate you some cards to try out.
Also, I do have a guild that is quite active. Not in the sense of chatting, but playing. I will send you an invite. You will receive 25-30 SPS per Brawl, which is a nice income for a new player.
