I'm doing this because this is my first blog post. All you have to do is reply to this post with your ingame username, favorite card + splinter and a little explanation why. Here's mine:
The Phantom is my favorite because it saved my ass several times by using its high speed to dodge blows.
My favorite splinter however is life at the moment! I've slept on this type for too long, but when the mana rules allow you to build a good deck, I have found it to be a great splinter.
The contest will end on the 25th of August, around 19 PM UTC I will put all the usernames of the replying people into a n online wheel and send the 250 DEC to the winner.

My favorite is Gelatinus Cube, because that dude has saved my ass countless times in the poison ruleset, even beating Llama/Kron and Yodin Zaku.
My favorite is Kron because... it's Kron! He's just so powerful paired with Llama. And I like earth because there are so many ways to play depending on the summoner.

Thanks for doing this giveaway! My favorite card is Zalran Efreet because people don't usually expect you to be able to cleanse in Red. Red is also my favorite splinter!

Thanks for the giveaway! I'm blotokes-g in-game and earth splinter is my current favourite as Mylor Crowling helped me win many times in my first duels by helping my troops give as much as they took.
Yes, Llama and Kron are king right now meta wise. But recently I've been digging Mylor with the ability of having thorns on all splinters. Its give you some extra HP and can be the difference of a win or lose in small mana matches. @virtunic

Phantom of the Abyss all the way, it can just dodge half a battle.
Though dragon is my fav splinter - mostly because of how they have a good mix of melee, magic, and range + can be used with other splinters. So if I have a monster thats good for a particular ruleset, i can go with some strong Dragon monsters + whichever other splinter for that particular monster.

My favourite is the summoner Yodin Zaku. I was lucky enough to get him in the very first untamed pack of cards I purchased (I only purchased two packs in total before they ran out!). The blast ability, plus the additional range per card, is invaluable in beating enemies. It goes without saying that fire splinter is my favourite as I have built my (purchased) pack up around Yodin. @sbenbow-splinter
My favourite splinter at the moment is death as it has helped me to counter quite a few matches and I feel quite comfortable with it in various situations. And regarding my favourite card - that was a bit tough as I had to choose between two cards. But Creeping Ooze it is. I just like to be able to hit first which has also helped me to secure victory by shutting down a card or two before they can even make a move.

Favorite is earth, love the tankiness of the cards! For card I would say Cornealus.

It's not gold, but my favorite card is the robo-dragon knight. High stats and two buffs (but of course high mana cost).
@tameshon. Epona is my favorite for sure low mana so she fits everywhere great name and tons of utility.
My favorite is Goblin Mech, because he is very tank.

My favorite splinter at the moment is Earth, and I really like Swamp Thing. Two useful debuffs with an okay ranged attack for only 2 mana is a steal.

hi :) im still a newbie (bronze III) so there are lots of cards i am obsessed with trying to find their right place in a deck.. "the cat one" = serpentine spy just makes the most outstanding assassin of them all :) although it is kinda annoying, when battling against the fire splinter and wont get a chance to start off as first, which really makes the difference for the rest of the game :D so now i am trying to figure out how to overpower my favorite "cat", especially in low mana settings :) my in-game-name is @dusi, cheers mate! :)

Im a fire splinter user.
its hard to decide my best pick.
But for low mana costs deck i will go for serpentine and cobold miner
you need to beef up their damage though.

My favorite card is phantasm, because I like it a lot, art and its status. The splinter I like best is the death splinter, as it reminds me of Warcraft's guldan kkk in addition to its ability to decrease the attack of short-range monsters by 1

My IGN is @xenonia, My favorite card right now is Naga Fire Wizard, I'm in Gold league right now and with her high Magic attack and shield Effect, sometimes I use her as a tank, also my favorite splinter is Fire, With a 2 tank, speed boost and enemy slow, I'll be the first one to attack. My favorite card flesh golem, it is very useful especially when having the heal ability. It is good for both low and high mana capacity. Can also be used in any kinds of rules and conditions in battle. IGN: @boksdino
Hey there! My favourite combination would be Owster Rotwell with Dark Ha´On against magic players to soak up and reflect their spell dmg meanwhile back lines eliminates rest. @fiiii
