Splinterlands, the Chaos Legion. Part #2 - Molten Ash Golem

in Splinterlands3 years ago

Preface

Today, January 2, I opened another Chaos Legion booster pack. Why? Out of curiosity and because it's fun to deal with the new cards and their abilities. Why only one? Because in my opinion it makes more sense to wait with the opening. On the one hand, because after the pre-sale phase 2, two more valuable characters will be added, which you can then find in them. In total, there will be thirteen more desirable cards.

Chaos Legion Booster Pack #2

The booster pack I opened today contained two rare cards. The content has a value of $0.77 according to peakmonsters.com. The "most valuable" unit in it is called "Molten Ash Golem".

Molten Ash Golem

a soulless monster made of volcanic ash. It fights for the Fire Splinter. Molten Ash Golem has nine health, with a maximum of ten at higher levels. Its strength from level 1 is Closed Range. I will possibly use him as a second line tank.

Stats and Abilities

From level 3 his combat strength increases, from level 5 he will weaken the life force of all enemy monsters. At maximum level (*8), he will demoralize the enemy Melee monsters.

Price evolution

The BCX price of Molten Ash Golem is $0.25 today on 02/01/2022.
The price of a booster pack at $5.37 on third party markets (Hive Engine).
In the regular store one pack costs $4.00. Adding the voucher price ($2.93) makes $6.93. If you use quantity discounts it will be cheaper of course.

I am curious how the value of the cards and the booster packs will develop in the future.

Thanks for reading and have fun and success in the game wishes you your @germansailor.
