Which is the most useless ability in battle?

in Splinterlands2 years ago

Hello everyone, today I want to share the answers I had when I posted the question of the title on Reddit:

The answer with most votes was:

Recharge easily. I would go far as to say it's actual a hindernace than a benefit

Other one was:

I can agree with recharge. 2 others I will enter as candidates though:

Cripple: Cripple hurts me far more often than it helps. This is because when applied, cripple decreases max health, but not current health. But when it's cleansed, it increases both max health and current health. So if cripple is used with cleanse on the board, it actually gives extra healing to your opponent. I play at Champion, where cleanse is fairly common, especially with the emergence of Doctor Blight as an elite card.

Scattershot: I typically want to focus fire, so I don't like scattershot. Too much RNG for me. Now, I do like it in some instances, so it's not always terrible, but if I was designing a card I'd definitely rather it not be there.

In addition, other used answered:

I understand but I rather have a melee monster with reach than without it.

A played had other opinion saying:

Recharge hands down. The ability is absolutely garbage tier…

Other one said:

The ability name currently escapes but the one that makes the monster that has it strike a random monster on the opposing team on its turn can be counter productive.

A community manager gave his opinion:

Scattershot!

I don't hate Recharge as much as others. Scattershot however hasn't been super helpful for me either.I don't think I have ever used Deathblow or Snare although I guess they could be useful in some situations but there are better choices in my opinion.

I think i agree with you Reach is not that good because it can easily be replace with sneak or opportunity but Recharge is also not that great so i think it comes down to preference.

Affinity? idk though, I play lv1 cards hahaha
