I was able to get the spellbook using my bank account and PayPal. I created an account and wallet on ecency thinking I can buy HIVE or DEC here. Is there a market here? Better yet, what is the easiest way to add HIVE or DEC to your account using a debit card? I feel like I'm making a bunch of wallets, but not able to get into the purchasing phase. I know how it sounds, and I know nobody likes helping hopeless noobs, but I would greatly appreciate some guidance. I wanna be able to rent some cards so I can get into bronze 2 so I can started earning DEC fragments. I will also gladly accept sponsorships or mentorships. I'm willing to learn and got plenty of time this winter.

buy hive with your card somewhere like Binance, send the hive to your hive engine wallet address, swap the hive for dec on hive engine, send dec to your in game from hive wallet.
how much DEC do you need to get started?
Im going to buy about 300 dec just to test the waters. I'm tempted to spend more to open packs. I've heard it's better to rent in the beginning, so imma stick with that idea. Thanks BTW, I am going to start on a binance account right now
There should only be one wallet. Hive, Splinterlands, Hive-Engine and Ecency all use the same wallet as long as you use the same account name to log into each.
Right, I've used the wallet on a few different places but can't get to the part of buying. I'm hoping my bank let's me use binance. I don't see HIVE on binance tho. Do I just buy ETH and convert it later?
Here's a video @clove71 did on "how to buy DEC on Hive-engine with Hive". Hope it helps. https://hive.blog/hive-13323/@clove71/vhkkytkr
@jarvie posted an excellent beginners guide. watch it here https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@jarvie/how-fast-and-cheap-will-it-be-to-reach-bronze-ii-in-splinterlands
Thank you. I'm gonna check it out. Hopefully it solves my issue
On the right side of the DEC it shows a (+) symbol. There you can choose how much you need and how to pay for it.
