Overview of the Ambassador Program
The Ambassador Program is designed to reward players who actively bring new users into Splinterlands. By sharing a unique referral link, ambassadors can earn various rewards based on their referral’s activities within the game. Unlike the previous Affiliate Program, this initiative offers more comprehensive rewards and better aligns with the community’s goals, as outlined in a recent DAO proposal.
Benefits and Opportunities for Ambassadors
The Ambassador Program offers two reward tiers: Silver and Gold, each with distinct benefits:
Silver Tier:
Requirements: Refer at least one friend.
Benefits:
Both you and your referral earn 500 Credits when they purchase a Spellbook.
Earn 5% of your referrals' end-of-season (EOS) Glint rewards, up to 100% of your own EOS Glint earnings.
Gold Tier:
Requirements: Have at least 10 referrals who’ve spent $100 or more on purchases (via primary, secondary, or rental markets). You must also own a Spellbook.
Benefits:
All Silver Tier benefits.
Earn a 5% bonus (paid in DEC) on packs purchased by your referrals from the in-game shop.
Receive 1% of your referrals’ peer-to-peer transactions (minimum payout of 0.001 DEC per transaction).
These benefits offer an incredible opportunity to build a passive income while fostering growth in the Splinterlands community.

Tips for Success as a Splinterlands Ambassador
To maximize your impact and earnings as an ambassador, follow these tips:
Promote Enthusiastically: Share your love for Splinterlands through social media, gaming forums, and local events. Highlight the game’s unique features, such as its play-to-earn model and vibrant community.
Educate New Players: Help your referrals understand the game’s mechanics, including how to purchase Spellbooks and earn rewards. A well-informed referral is more likely to stay engaged.
Stay Updated: Keep track of updates to the program and new features in Splinterlands to ensure your promotions remain relevant.
Leverage Community Resources: Utilize tools like in-game benefits, FAQs, and official Splinterlands content to make your outreach efforts more effective.
What Happened to the Affiliate Program?
Under the previous Affiliate Program, ambassadors earned 5% of their referrals’ lifetime purchases of select items like Card Packs and Summoner Spellbooks. The new Ambassador Program replaces this system, offering broader earning opportunities and enhanced transparency.
