Time Mage!

Lore:

Time Mages are members of the Order of the Silver Shield and close associates of the Wizards' Council. They are trusted to peer through the fabric of time and reality to foretell the future or manipulate the present by slowing the flow of time. They can also speed up the aging process of armor, causing it to rust prematurely.
However, with such power also comes great risk. The future is ever-changing, and the ripples of time can affect everyone. Time Mages must undergo strict training to ensure they don't abuse their power and use it only for the direst of circumstances.

In reality, time is as valuable as a gem. You can see someone values you a lot when he/she gives you his or her time. (Well, that is just my opinion, what about yours?😉)

BATTLE RULES:

Equalizer-the initial health of all monsters is equal to the monster with the highest health on either team.
Mana Cap- 56

Element- Life element only

When the battle rules showed, I was thinking, what a lucky sight. In sarcasm, using life element is quite difficult for me.

SUMMONER

General Sloan_lv1 (1).png

General Sloan has been my frustration ever since the chaos legion pack was released. I love to use him in every battle but I tend to lose most of the time. An increased ranged attack is quite a sight to see while winning.

Chaos Knight - I put Chaos Knight as my first tank because it has the shield ability, that reduces melee and ranged attacks. I expected that the enemy will use General Sloan and this helps to prolong my tank's life.
Truthspeaker- Increased armor for every monster by two. I used this as my second tank because of the equalizer battle rule. Though she has 1 life only, she is a good tank.
Time Mage- The star of this battle has the slow ability that reduces the speed of the enemy's monster. She is in the third position not knowing the reason behind it, but my instincts just tell me so.
Pelacor Albalest- With his double strike, and 2 range attacks, he is one of my favorite. I thank the battle rule that he may have a chance to stay for a little longer.
Venari Crystalsmith- She is the one I was wanting before. I won her in End of Season Rewards glad to have her and maximize her ability in this challenge.
Supply Runner- I chose him because of his 2 ranged attack.

Shieldbearer will divert every attack of my monster to him, delaying the attack to the first tank. But in my judgment, his placement of monsters is wrong.My enemy @haigame1067 lineup is quite good. Putting

ROUND 1

After the monsters were pumped up by the abilities, the battle commenced. As predicted, both of us used General Sloan, even the 3 monsters the enemy had were the same as me. I was the first attacker with Time Mage, directing to Shieldbearer, of course. Thanks to Chaos Knight, being in the first position was the best choice. At the end of this round, Chaos Knight had the higher health as Venari Crystalsmith healed my first tank.

ROUND 2

Now for the second round, the first attack went to my opponent's Time Mage. Earlier in this round, Shieldbearer died first followed by Pelacor Albalest's blows on my Chaos Knight following the death of the enemy's first tank.

In this round, my tank is Truthspeaker and the opponent's tank is Elven Defender and he was defeated sooner than I thought, putting Goblin Chariot in the first position. This would make @haigame1067 decrease the chances of his attacks because a ranged monster cannot attack in the first position.

ROUND 4

As I have said in the previous round, a ranged attack on the first position is vulnerable and of no use. Thanks for my Venari Crystalsmith it maintained the life of Time Mage. She literally stopped in the first position like how she slowed the enemy's speed.

ROUND 5

I have already overruled the enemy in this round. And the win is quite obvious. I thought putting the Time Mage in the 3rd position is the wrong choice. But then, this round proved me wrong. Giving the other ranged monsters their full ability to attack my opponent.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes, as I mentioned earlier in this blog, I thought putting Time Mage in the third position was wrong, but it made me win. So I would just like to try if putting her in other positions with the same battle rules would make me win still.

Do you like the TIME MAGE? Why or why not?

I have been struggling with life element and I wanted to use Time Mage all the time but in almost all of my life battles, I couldn't win but this time, I won righteously. I like her ability slow with an attack of magic. I might aim to have a gold foil for this.😉
