Weekly BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Challenge with Armored Up

in Splinterlands11 months ago

I always like this Armored Up ruleset as in this ruleset all units get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game. Use Void Armor to ensure that magic attacks strike armor first. Use Shatter or Piercing to destroy your opponent's armor more effectively. So I look into my card collection of different tribes and felt that in fire tribe I have some strong monsters cards. So for this battle I chose my fire team. In this battle I chose strong sneak attack monster cards at my back end so it could eliminate enemy's back line quickly and also try to fill all spots.

Rulset: Armored Up

All units get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game.

The Strategy

In this battle challenge my strategy is very simple as I chose few sneak attack monster cards and my all game relay on my sneak attack cards. So, I check my card collection and chose fire team for this battle. As I think that in my fire team I have some balance monsters cards combinations. So firstly I must choose a summoner which helps to increase my cards states so I chose fire summoner TARSA as this summoner gives extra health and malee attack to all friendly monsters. So for this Armored Up ruleset it is a best choice. My enemy brought earth monster OBSIDIAN which gives one extra magic attack to all magic attack monster cards so this battle was fire vs earth summoners.

As I was using fire summoner so I checked my fire monsters cards and chose some high attack monsters with some extra ability. As this battle was low mana 22 so my options to chose monsters cards were limited.

In this battle for tank position my best choice was XENITH MONK One malee attack and 6 health with 3 speed. On 2nd position I used GOBALANO SOLDIER one malee attack, 3 speed and two health with sneak and ambush ability. On 3rd position I used TENYII STRIKER 2 malee attack, 2 speed and 6 health with sneak attack ability. On 4th position I used URAEUS one malee attack and two health with sneak ability. On 5th position I used CREEPING OOZE No attack and two health with slow ability. On last position I used CHAOS AGENT No attack and one health with ltwo speed. So in this battle my all hopes lied on my sneak ability monster card TENYII STRIKER. I hoped that my this monster would eliminate enemy's back line cards quickly. I also hoped that my cards would not miss any attack and my enemy would not have any healer card. Thanks to my summoner my all monster cards got 1 extra malee attack and one health. So we discuss our today's battle lineup one by one in next section.

The Summoner

In this battle I used TARSA RARE Fire Summoner
as it gives extra malee attack and health to all friendly monsters. This summoner is helpful in all ruleset and works well to increase the attack.

1st Slot - Tank Monster

In this battle I used XENITH MONK RARE Neutral Unit with one malee attack, 6 health and 3 speed. This card is level 1 and helpful in low mana battles.

2nd Slot - 2nd Tank Card

On 2nd position I used GOBALANO SOLDIER COMMON Fire Unit with one malee attack, 2 health and 3 speed. This card also has sneak and ambush ability so this card attacks before the battle start.

3rd Slot - Sneak Attack Monster

On 3rd position I used TENYII STRIKER RARE Fire Unit with 2 malee attack, 6 health and 2 speed. This card is very helpful in all mana battels with sneak ability.

4th Slot - 2nd Sneak Attack Monster

On 4th position I used URAEUS EPIC Neutral Unit with one malee attack, one shield, two health and two speed. This card also has sneak ability so this card eliminate enemy's backline quickly.

5th Slot - Filler Monster Card

On 5th position I used CREEPING OOZE COMMON Neutral Unit with 2 ranged attack, 6 health and 4 speed. This card is very helpful with slow ability so this card reduce the speed of all enemy's monster cards.

Last Slot - 2nd Filler Monster Card

On last position I used a filler cardCHAOS AGENT COMMON Neutral Unit with No attack, one health and 2 speed. This card is very helpful on last position and waste few enemy's attack.

THE BATTLE

I think that I brought best team in this battle but my opponent also brought a compact but balanced earth team with better choice of cards. Only card placement matters in this battle as my enemy brought few strong magic attack monsters and I started with strong tank monster card and I also mostly rely on my sneak cards and hope these card perform well in this battle.

In round one new ability ambush trigger and my card attacked first and eliminated enemy's back line card. Both teams tank cards stayed strong.

In 2nd round my sneak cards eliminate another back line card and my team stay strong.

In 4th round I lost one card and my enemy lost another card.

In 5th round I lost another card and my enemy lost another card.

So in last and 8th round my team eliminated enemy all cards thanks to my strong sneak cards and won this battle easily in 8th round.

Conclusion

I think that I brought a perfect team combination in this battle and as expected my sneak attack cards performed well. My enemy also brought a descent team but only difference in this battle was sneak cards. So this was a one sided match and I won this battle in 8th round.
