Hi! This is just my second post here. I joined Splinterlands in January after joining @bravetofu's onboarding program. He has a new one, so make sure to check it out by clicking his name! I wrote about it in my first post, but in short, I received some Chaos Legion packs, some DEC, SPS delegation, and card delegations from two splinters (Water and Earth were my choices). They were fully leveled cards, by the way! The card degelations lasted a month, and when they expired, Bravetofu talked to me on Discord, and he even gave me a few extra days.
If I wanted to get extra time with the delegations, I had to spend $100 in the market. I was too busy at the time, and I played this game a lot over the course of a month. I took a little break for one season. I still played Brawls, and I play a bit of ranked when I could, but I also let my energy fill up. I had some cards delegated from my friend @olaf.gui, but they were at lower levels. I dropped to Silver, I believe.
After that period was over, I bought some DEC and made some purchases. The most expensive ones were Dallan, General Sloan, Lira the Dark, Harklaw, Revealer, and Djinn Renova. All at full level. I'm not very happy with Dallan. I lose to similar teams when they use Thaddius Brood. I had enough purchases to reach the $100, and I talked with Bravetofu. He delegated the cards back, increased the SPS delegation, gave me 15k extra DEC, and also included a Chaos Agent in the delegation. I had used one that wasn't fully leveled before, but it is much better now! After this, I bought more cards, most importantly Conqueror Jacek and Grandmaster Rathe, again at full level. I also considered an Astral Entity, but I was too slow when I saw a good deal.
I started the season in Bronze. It was very easy until high Gold and Diamond. At some point, I had 3660 rating with a win streak available. I faced a team with Eternal Tofu, and it was a very close game, but I lost. Live by the Tofu, die by the Tofu! The day before the end of the season, I was in the same situation. The game must not have been that memorable, but I got the win and reached Champion 3. I checked the Bronze leaderboard, and I was in first. I had some things to do, so I didn't check the game again. Sadly, someone else also reached the same rating, but it placed them above me. It's sad because I reached that rating first, but it is what it is. I was rewarded with 75k Glint, and that was very nice!
This season, it has been more difficult. Of course, last season I started in Bronze, so it was easy. But now I'm struggling to keep in Diamond 2.
