Anti-Shock Measures For Electrified

image.png

Electrified is a devastating debilitation that damages all friendly units by -1. It cannot be cleansed or removed from game unless the card is out of the game. But as most cards with debilitations possess high stats and other useful abilities, Electrified is owned by a very powerful card - Shock Trooper. To use this card, we need to weigh in on the pros and cons. Will the damage to friendly units outweigh the damage you can apply to the enemy? Can you defeat the enemy faster before your allies die? So in this post, we will discuss how to mitigate the damage done by Electrified.

Abilities That Synergizes With Electrified

Strengthen

image.png

Strengthen ability grants +1 Max Health to all allies. This will ensure friendly units will be sustained for longer periods of time. Adding an additional max health will also be beneficial for the next ability that synergizes with Eletrified - Corrupted Healing.

Corrupted Healing

image.png

Corrupted Healing heals 70% of max health to friendly units except the healer itself. But there is a catch. As units are healed, their max health reduces by 1. That's why Strengthen is a good to pair with this anti-healing debilitation. It adds one more max health ensuring units will last one more round. Corrupted Healing synergizes with Electrified as it affects all units too. Electrified damages, Corrupted Healing heals them back.

Triage and Tank Heal

image.png image.png

Triage restores 1/3 of max health to allies at the backline. This synergizes with Electrified as it heals one backline unit. This unit might be the one with the Corrupted Healing as it can't heal itself. It also good to note that Tank Heal is also a good ability to have as it heals the frontline instead. Typically healing is much needed when you are using Electrified. This will prolong the heavy damage done by Shock Trooper

Scavenger

Scavenger increases the card's health by +1 when any units dies in the battlefield. This is the same with Life Leech as it adds +1 health to the card when it damages the opponent. One factor why these two synergizes with Electrified is that they all add +1 to the max health. This is a good synergy to Corrupted Healing too as it is a positive counterpart to it. Basically all abilities that increase max health such as Bloodlust and Martyr is plus for Electrified.

Mitigating Electrified In Battle

Here is a sample battle that features Electrified mitigation. As you can see, it got most of the abilities mentioned above.

image.png

The rulesets in this battle are Stampede, Silenced Summoners and Briar Patch.

image.png

As Briar Patch is active, Melee is quite in a pickle here. Even using Trample here to take advantage of Stampede Ruleset, if frowned upon. Zeddica is used as the summoner here since it only got only 3 mana and it allows the use of both water and death splinters. Allowing us to use Shock Trooper and Arachne Weaver at the same time. In this battle, the synergy of Corrupted Healing is shown at full scale because of High health monsters. As a side note, use units with high health.

Thanks to Training Mode, I could do this kind of simulation.
