Getting Back On Track
Yeah, don't know if you guys notice but I've been out from the blogging and playing Splinterlands for a while now. Well, I don't know if this counts as sharing a splendid Splinterlands Experience but I think I owe it to those who care and consider me as a friend. Well, there was a lot of personal things that happened. The death of my father is being one. But yeah, I'm back on the Splinterlands blogging and playing track. I am not really out of gaming per se, I am still playing my scholar account and it's been good but not as good as I used to. I could only blame my state of mind that time. Anyways, what's stored here in this post? The battles that you could say 'on the theme of getting back' at the enemy. Lets see and dissect it.
The battle that made me get back to Gold 1
Let me start off with this battle that I literally just won as I make this post. I mean, why not? Since it's the reason why I get back my Gold 1 league status, I might as well post it.
The battle in question is my match with @rukien. Such an amazing fellow, even though I don't know him in game, I thank him for letting me win.
In this battle, the ruleset is Deflection Field and What doesn't kill you. For those who don't know what these rules entail, here's the summary:

 | Deflection Field | This ruleset grants all units with Reflection Field. Making units unfazed with Blast, Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns. |
 | What Doesn't Kill You | This ruleset grants all units with Enrage. It gives 50% melee attack power and speed to units who gets damage the first time. |
At first glance, I am in a very dangerous position as my enemy uses a magic team with Obsidian as the summoner. This is an amazing team. It neglects armor and hits straight to my unit's health. The only reason how I manage to win this is because of Wave Brood.
With Void ability, Wave Brood managed to soak up all the Magic damage while being healed by Angelic Mandarin. I love this combo specially when I'm at a lost on what deck to use. Another star of the battle is my damage dealer - Diemon Shark.
Diemon Shark ravages the enemy frontline and manages to Trample at the beginning and the last parts. Merdaali Guardian helped sustain it longer with heals and repairs. The other team members of course contributed to the win like Angelic Mandarin and Igor Darkspear gets 1 kill each. All in all, it's a team effort.
Gold 1 Rewards
As I have said that this is a win that gets me to Gold 1, I might as well share what I got from the loot chests:
It's not that fancy but it sure is interesting and fun. At least I get back some of the potions I used in opening it. See how's that for a 'get back' post. :-)
Closing
Well, you can be sure I will post more from now on as I get back from playing my main account. Besides there are lots of things to look out for in this game. We will have Survival Mode and Conclave Arcana. How cool is that? Thank you for reading my post and have a nice game!
