How Daily Rentals Removal Affects Casual Players

By March 18th, Daily Rentals will be removed and will shift to Season Rentals only. From that point forward, rentals will be made for at most 15 days instead of 2 days at the least. This is a huge news specially for casual players that maxed rent cards in order to play. Some card owners will also be affected as they sometimes rent some cards they haven't maxed or they don't have a BCX of. Let us dive in the advantages and disadvantages of this change coming from a casual player such as myself.

What Will Change?

Cheap Rental Costs
It is obviously cheaper to rent cards for 2 days than rent them for 15 days. With daily rentals, Casual players can rent cheap and reap some GLINTs and SPS for profit or building collection.
Change Card Set
Although not a frequent practice, but an option, Casual players can rent other set after the 2 days rent. This allows players to experiment on what works and not. They can rent Chaos Legion in 2 days and Rebellion in a few days for practice.
Rest
Although thought as an exploit, Casual Players rest for a few days after exhausting their energy. Afterwards, Casual players can go play and rent some cards again. The endless and tiring cycle continues.

Rental Landscape Changed For The Better

Rentals is no doubt changed because of this incoming update. Here are some good things this update will bring:
No More Rental Cancellation
This is a well-known problem with rentals. Some renters cancels out some rentals in the middle of rental period. As Season Rentals cannot be cancelled in the middle of the rental period, this protects rentees in their rent. It ensures cards are available during the rental period.
Better Energy Management
Casual players can now manage their energy better by not spending it all in 2 days. They can spend 15-20 battles a day and ensure better plays rather than setting out some random plays.
Cheaper Rental Fees
Season Rents will be normalized and would opt renters to lower their fees. This is because with Seasonal rental the amount of DEC they will get from renting out will increase and would make the rental more enticing for rentees.
No Longer A Tiring Process
Renting every 2-3 days, is tiring and bothersome. And sometimes the rental cost will increase the next time you rent. For seasonal rents, you can just rent for whole season and play to your hearts content.

Closing
In conclusion, as this post is closest to my heart as a casual player myself, I believe this is all for the better. Noting the advantages and disadvantages above, I think the advantages weighs more than the disadvantages. Are you a Casual Player too? What's your plan?
