Rent Out Cards With No Hazzle Using Custom Sets
Got a bunch of cards you don't use? You want to list them out for rent? No problem. Splinterlands got you! Introducing: Custom Sets. This feature allows you to list a custom set of cards ranging from any edition, set or species. The card set list can be rented out to the market in just few easy steps. Let's dive in shall we?
Setting Up A Custom Set
Going to Items then Card Sets, you can access the page for creating custom sets.
In creating a set, you can choose the card edition. You can either create Chaos Legion Core and Reward 1 set, RiftWatcher Expansion Set, Rebellion Core Set or a Custom Set. For this post, we will focus on creating a custom set.
Custom sets can be customized according to the Card Set(Edition) - Rebellion, Chaos Legion, Untamed, Beta, Alpha and Gladius. You can also choose either Regular or Gold Foil. If you are planning to rent out Summoners only, Card Role can also be changed to either Summoner or Unit. Rarities can also be customized as whether you wish to rent out only Commons, Rares, Epics or Legendaries. What excites me here is we can also rent out Element exclusive sets or combinations. Fancy an all Water element card set? Custom sets got your back.
You can sort your card collection by Rarity or Alphabetical. If you wish to show only those cards you got a copy or copies of, choose Available. The other options for card visibility are All and Selected.
If you got a lot of copies of a card, you can specifically choose the card according to Level, Card Id, Last Played and Foil. This is very helpful to pin point the card you wish to rent out. You can choose the card you haven't played for a while or the Gold foil card you hoped to get some profit from.
Once you click Create, you can give your set a name.
Listing A Card Set For Rent
Once you create the Custom Card Set, you can now list them for rent or Edit it.
Closing
Custom Set is an amazing feature to have. As of this writing, you can only list the set for rent. In the future, these sets can be rented, list for sale, unbound or bounded. The possibilities are endless. Have you tried the custom sets? Try it you'll be amazed.
