The New SPL Mobile Experience
Hey hey hey!
With the recent changes to the Splinterlands website and the near completion of the Tech modernization phase, the mobile UI/UX has improved and made even more user friendly. In this post, I will share my experience in playing Splinterlands using my phone.
Hive Keychain
Full disclosure, this is not a paid promotion of the Hive Keychain. I am a long time user of this app and this is what I use for most of my mobile HIVE transactions. This is also the app that I use to play Splinterlands. You can play Splinterlands using your phone's native web browser or any mobile browsers. I am just used to the security and ease of use HIVE keychain is providing.
New Interface
Menu
The most notable change in the mobile interface is the menu below the app.
The menu is now organized neatly and grouped accordingly.

Battle Interface
The Battle Screen is more neat. I can easily see the Match details once I click the Battle button.
The actual battle can be seen in full details by clicking on the Desktop/Mobile View below. In Desktop View, I can Zoom In/Out off the screen to focus on the whole or specific part of the battle.
Miscellaneous
Lets us not forget the subtle change of the Currency designs. It is now an open ended rectangle with rounded corners. I personally like this design. Kudos to the design team!
Closing
Mobile gaming is most accessible way of gaming. With this, we can enjoy playing Splinterlands wherever we go using our phones. Thanks to the whole Splinterlands team for bringing this change to us.
