Radiated Brute
Radiated Brute is like a discount Finneas Rage, for less mana, and significantly slower, she offers a powerful 2 Melee Reach monster to Fire's Starter Set, and she brings the damage.
While not particularly tanky, Radiated Brute brings an offensive off-tank presence to Fire, giving it a lot of muscle up front with many of its team comps.
This pretty much flatout improves on what Magma Troll initially brought to the table and makes it, well, usable.
First, some info on Radiated Brute:

The spreading blight on the continent of Praetoria twisted both the land and its people.
Plants and animals were the first to become corrupted. Fungus sprouted from vegetation and gave them sentience. Animals grew extra limbs, heads, and grew to extraordinary sizes.
Then the people fell ill. Some thought it was from the plague brought about by Doctor Blight. Others thought perhaps it was from the poisonous gases that seeped from the fissures near the volcano.
Whatever it was, those who survived the sickness were changed. They mutated, grew stronger, and were filled with an uncontrollable rage. Some were unable to control that rage and went on murderous rampages. Others fought to maintain their sanity long enough to protect their family, friends, and neighbors from themselves. They fled into the Jade Thicket, where they became as feral as the wild animals of the continent.
The people of Praetoria referred to them as Radiated Brutes.
Radiated Brute is an offensive off-tank with the Reach Ability, who is meant to be placed in Position 2, to attack from behind a main tank. Their base stats are 2 Melee, 1 Speed, and 5 Health for 5 Mana, this makes them a fairly poor 'tank' per say, but an extra chunk of decent front line damage and health that can be attacking from position 2.
Once she hits level 4, she gains +1 Melee, becoming a much more offensive presence, but her next ability gains are what makes her a pretty strong card:
Level 6 is when Radiated Brute gets its game-changing ability: Enrage
At Level 8, she finally has 4 Speed, making her a fairly fast card who has 6 Speed while enraged.
Finally at level 10, she gains another +1 Melee, becoming her final stats at Level 10: 4 Melee, 4 Speed, 6 Health, Reach, and Enrage
She costs about $0.07 per BCX in her Normal Foil variant, and about $1.09 per BCX for a Gold Foil.
**LEVEL COSTS**
Level 4 costs about **$2** for Normal Foil and **2.18** for GF this is where she gains **+1 Melee**
Level 6 costs **$4.20** for Normal Foil and **$9.90** for GF this is where she gains **Giant Killer**
Max Level costs **$24** for Normal and about **$41.42 for Gold** (based on 1 BCX prices)
*Keep in mind that higher BCX Cards come with discounts, this is the math for purchasing 1 BCX Cards, which you should NOT do if you're planning to level.*
𝔽𝕚𝕟𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕚𝕒𝕝 𝕍𝕒𝕝𝕦𝕖
Investing in Normal Foils: In my opinion, as a Common Reach Attacker in Fire, with competition in Magma Troll and Finneas Rage, I actually think this is a pretty solid card: Finneas Rage is a lot more pricey, and Magma Troll is, well, Magma Troll. The caveat is that Radiated Brute doesn't really start to ramp up until Enrage covers its abysmal speed.
Investing in Gold Foils: Jumping off of that, I actually think this is a pretty solid Reach Attacker to have as a GF: It's not Finneas Rage, but it's also a hilariously small fraction of the price, and should get you some decent mileage even if there are more Reach attackers in Fire's future.
That being said, if you've got more budget available to you, Radiated Brute, a GF Common, might not be the best choice.
𝔾𝕒𝕞𝕖𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕪 𝕍𝕒𝕝𝕦𝕖
Bronze: 3/10: In my opinion, Radiated Brute kind of sucks in Bronze: You're locked into a very low speed, and you do NOT have access to Reverse Speed Rulesets where Radiated Brute shines until Bronze I or Silver II... Radiated Brute isn't a BAD card, but Finneas Rage tends to override it in value, and whenever one is playable, the other usually is as well.
Silver: 6/10: Silver unlocks a bit more versatility with rulesets, with Reverse Speed and Enrage putting Radiated Brute fairly high on the list, and actually makes the card pretty comparable to Flying Squid in Water, he becomes situationally strong and gains +1 Melee, which is also a huge bonus when paired with a leveled Tarsa or Malric. Not a bad card, not a great card, its main let down at this league is its lack of Speed, which it mitigates in Reverse Speed and Enrage rulesets.
Gold: 7/10: I think this is right around where Radiated Brute is most viable: Enrage makes up for its lack of speed and makes it a heavy hitter in position 2, and allows it to be more generally used in battles: it's still not a great monster, it's a common, but it makes a decent, affordable core attacker for Fire that can't be beat in value, and offers a lot of versatility/mileage for its cost.
Diamond/Champion: 6/10: I don't play in Diamond/Champion, so this is largely speculation on my part: I think Radiated Brute faces a major problem here: It's got the damage, but not a lot of supporting abilities or health, and that makes it just okay. Enraged at 4 Melee and 4 Speed does mean 6 / 6, which is pretty decent, but at this level, a lot of teams are so buff and debuff heavy that a 2 ability monster is situational at best. Of course, since I DON'T know what I'm saying here, I'd love if a Diamond/Champion player chimed in in the comments about Radiated Brute!
ℙ𝕣𝕖𝕗𝕖𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕕 𝕊𝕦𝕞𝕞𝕠𝕟𝕖𝕣
With Radiated Brute, you can generally use any Summoner out of Fire, but a few standout as particularly good choices:
Tarsa is an obvious choice: More Health, more Melee, what's not to like? At max, you can bring an enraged Radiated Brute up to a devastating 8 Melee, with just Tarsa and this card... Plus, that +1 Health helps Radiated Brute perform as an off-tank just a little better
I also quite like Qid Yuff for this particular monster. Yeah, I know, Qid kind of sucks, but look, I'm just showing off the summoners I think work best with this specific monster here, and Piercing is wild on a 2nd Position Enraged Reach Attacker with potentially 7 Damage... Armor? What armor? It's gone.
Dragons have some other, versatile options:
Daria is a pretty solid choice for any melee card, let's be real. You lose out on the +1 HP of Tarsa, but you gain access to a whole host of Dragon Splinter cards, which may or may not be worth it depending on your current Dragon collection.
I find Drake of Arnak to be a really solid choice here: Armor is a pretty significant advantage against other Melee comps, and at times, it'll give you the edge to beat the team who has the +1 Melee bonus instead.
Honorable Mention: Kitty I can't choose you EVERY TIME, but True Strike and the speed is VERY helpful for both lower level Radiated Brute AND higher level. I'm literally avoiding putting Kitty again because Kitty is ALWAYS on these lol.

This is a Reach Attacker, why.
Why would you put it anywhere but position 2? There are a few exceptions, such as Melee Attacks from Anywhere, or Super Sneak, but if you're not putting her in Position 2, you're... doing it wrong, I think. I don't know anymore.
ℙ𝕣𝕖𝕗𝕖𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕕 𝕄𝕠𝕕𝕚𝕗𝕚𝕖𝕣𝕤
- Enraged is great for pre-Level 5 Radiated Brute, but useless after Level 6.
- Odds is great for Radiated Brute
- Reverse Speed is always good for a slower, hard hitter, this ruleset becomes less and less good as Radiated Brute levels.
ℕ𝕠𝕥 ℝ𝕖𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕕 𝕄𝕠𝕕𝕚𝕗𝕚𝕖𝕣𝕤
- Evens? No Radiated Brute, sorry.
- No Abilities basically makes her a... not very good tank? Don't do it.
- Poison/Earthquake eats right through her health, but, once she gets Enraged, this can let you do some cheeky plays with a guaranteed Damage/Speed boost ;)
𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔹𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝔸𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕕
Enraged, Melee Only, and All Splinters except WATER.
Melee Only... Time to nerf all the melee damage, Mylor? So what. It doesn't matter if he does no damage.
Enrage helps me power through, and shows how quickly Radiated Brute ramps up with the ability. I got a few Retaliates in here, which, actually, I was hoping NOT to get, as that almost killed me War Chaang too quickly.
My opponent could've improved his lineup with a bit more melee attackers that can attack from positions other than 1, as this would've allowed him to handle my damage a bit better, and eat through my lineup before I got him. For example, maybe an Oaken Behemoth, Goblin Thief, or even an Orc Sergeant (okay I'm lying Orc Sergeant would've been useless here). By having a variety of attacking positions, he would've been able to hit hard. Last issue was putting Sandworm in the last position, where he quickly got eaten through by Tenyii.
