Thanks for adding the mention there!
I just want to emphasise that even those who want to max their income should not try to cut down the time spent - especially if they have large part of their bankroll* invested in SL. You are better off playing 50 games a day when you are fit to play and able to deliver your A game than time-optimising do get away with 30ish (i do not think your sleeping schedule allows you the theoretical threshold of 26) which at times inevitably leads to forcing yourself to play when you should not (pushing down the winrate and spending some time in lower divisions than where you should be). The extra time spent with full focus can be understand as investment to improving your game (you do not only want to grind out the matches, you also want to learn new stuff along the way).
*I do not remember seeing the word once on Hive in my 15 months here. I guess I should break the ice in a future post.
That is something I've been realising for quite some time. Especially since the number of players have gone up. For me but probably for most people as well, it's almost impossible to keep the A game up for a very long time. After a certain amount of time my game gets worse and I need to take a break.
