The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I have moved to Wild League after the changes to Glint rewards and I have been liking it there. I stayed in Modern League and was able to get more rewards compared to last season. It shows that I could move up a bit further so the reward difference wasn't as large. I am still going to be in modern but I don't really see myself moving over to Wild League at all given my lack of time and the cost of DEC. The new chests being added to the league advancement is good and I was able to collect some extra rewards. I am going with a strategy of purposely losing at the end of the season to get more chests rewards.
Season Rewards
I ended up with 24,601 Glint for last season, which is more than the previous season. I did wait a few days before starting, but I got my fights in slightly earlier so I had more time to get my fights in. With that, I was able to try for Diamond and reach Diamond in Modern again so it wasn't as bad. I spread out my fights a bit more through the season so I didn't have to rush too much until the end when I had to drop my rank.
Above are my rewards from the league advancements. Just like last season, I am getting mainly common and rare cards along with some merits. I was lucky to get one epic. The previous season was better, but seeing an epic card is always nice.
This season, I got the above from using my glint. I decided to grab one legendary card and 3 epic cards with my Glint. The legendary card is a new card that I did not have and I got 3 different epic cards. I don't think I can upgrade any yet though, but its nice to see a Olivia.
Gladius Packs
I have collected 8 packs since the last time I opened packs. The number of packs is higherthan last time because I missed on brawl. I missed a brawl, but it looks like we placed well during the brawls that I didn't miss. I also got quite lucky as I got 1 legendary, 3 epic, and 1 gold foil card from this pack opening.
I was able to level up Captain Katie to level 5. It has bloodlust and snipe to start. At level 6, it learns divine shield. Leveling this card gave it 1 extra health. This is a very powerful card, and I use it from time to time as a magic snipe monster with bloodlust can be quite powerful.
I also leveled up Witch of Warwick to level 6. It starts with life leech and bloodlust. It learns affliction at level 6 and poison at level 10. Leveling this card gave it affliction, but it also reduced its health by 1.
The last card that I upgraded was my Gold Foil Hlemet Kharafax to level 4. With this upgrade, it learns void, but I don't use this card as often because it can't attack. My common foil version is higher level and my summoners in brawls are low level.
SPS
My SPS rewards were higher than last time. It looks like the brawl rewards are up despite missing one brawl and my modern is up quite a bit. I did do quite a few fights this season before putting up this post, though so that may have skewed the results a bit. Either way, its nice to see.
My pool reward for the season is 99.010 SPS. I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards for a total of 220.146 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference.
Conclusion
I am still unable to use up all my energy every single day, but I earned more Glint than the previous season. I reached Diamond III again, and the struggle to lose points for Silver hurts. I wonder just how much I should sacrifice to get those chests rewards. It's a gamble, but I wonder if the effort is worth it as I have to lose so many matches.

Nice reaper is a good card
That legendary gladiator card, I never used it, for green quora is just much better
It's a fire card with a mana cost of 1, but I agree that it isn't that useful. I don't use fire much and most of the time not for a gladiator.
Congratulations on the legendary Gini GUISE that you got, that card is very solid in low mana games. Have you been able to get your Olivia to level 2?
Yes my Olivia is level 2, but I don't use it much because it didn't seem to work out in the first few fights that I did.
Yeah, I understand, but I think when using the Olivia, you can pair it with a taunt card, this way it gives you enough time for the Olivia to mirror all the abilities of your opponent
