Explosive Weaponry can make the battle end faster from its collateral damage to each side of the victim monster. My key to victory in Explosive Weaponry rule
- Use monster with Snipe and Opportunity ability to get a better chance of splashing the collateral damage.
- Use monster with Taunt ability to attract most of the damage to the only spot of the team and put the high health monster to the side of Taunt monster

Daria Dragonscale LV 3
Edition: REWARD
Rarity: EPIC
Element: DRAGON
ABILITIES: All friendly monsters gain an extra 1 melee attack.
Daria Dragonscale was chosen in this battle since I would like to play a melee Water splinter monster team. Daria Dragonscale will provide extra damage to the team which will end the enemy life quicker combining with the Explosive Weaponry Rule; the collateral damage will become greater.
The Kraken LV 1

Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: WATER
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Taunt at level 1; Demoralize at level 2; Enrage at level 3; Retaliate at level 4
The Kraken was chosen as the main tanker in this battle due to its Taunt Ability to comply with Explosive Weaponry Rule. It will take most of the damage in this battle to avoid the collateral damage to the rest of the team.

Wave Runner LV 4
Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: WATER
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES:
Reach at level 1; Knock Out at level 5; Snare at level 9
Here comes our monster of the day, Wave Runner was chosen as a second tanker. Reach Ability provides a direct benefit to attack from the second position of the team. The only one weakest to put Wave Runner in this spot was its low health since most of the damage will be taunted to the Kraken and Wave Runner will take all of the collateral damage.
- Wave Runner comes with 3⚔️ 4🐌 0⚙️ 5❤️
Demented Shark LV 3
Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: WATER
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Inspire at level 1; Thorns at level 6
Demented Shark was chosen to provide the inspire buff to increase melee attack for the rest of the team. Its position was the third tanker; in case that Wave runner had died from the collateral damage, it will step up as a second tanker to take the collateral damage from Explosive Weaponry Rule.
- Demented Shark comes with 2⚔️ 3🐌 1⚙️ 6❤️
Venari Wavesmith LV 1
Edition: REWARD
Rarity: RARE
Element: WATER
ATTACK: MAGIC
ABILITIES: Protect at level 1; Dispel at level 5
In my opinion, Venari Wavesmith is the best card from the new reward set. It comes with a Protect Ability to provide an extra 2 shields for the rest of the team. In this case, most of its shields will absorb lots of the damage from the collateral damage from Explosive Weaponry Rule.

Dragon Jumper LV 1
Edition: UNTAMED
Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: DRAGON
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Flying&Opportunitye at level 1; Snare at level 2; Stun at level 3
Dragon Jumper was chosen from its Opportunity Ability. As I had told before, Opportunity Ability provides a better chance of splashing the collateral damage. Combining with his high speed and extra 2 melee damage buff, I expect he will slay the weakest enemy as a one-shot one kill and splash painful collateral damage to the sided enemy.

Sand Worm LV 3
Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Sneak at level 1; Snare at level 6; Piercing at level 10
Sand Worm was chosen as the last line of defense for the team from its high health. Its high damage combing with its Sneak ABility will break a back line of the enemy pretty fast.
- Sand Worm comes with 5⚔️ 2🐌 0⚙️ 6❤️
Battle
ROUND 1
The opponent team chose the DEATH splinter with Owster Rotwell summoner along with Harklaw, Sand Worm, Phantom Soldier, Ancient Lich, Grim Reaper, and Gargoya Lion.
From Daria Dragonscale and Demented Shark Ability, the melee monster receives extra 2 damage. Moreover, Venari Wavesmith provides an extra 2 shields for the team. Now, the team is ready to rumble with both shield and blade ready.
Dragon Jumper did a decent job at the beginning of the battle, one jump took down Ancient Lich and Grim Reaper. The Kraken quickly moved after and broke down Harklaw shield and splashed the damage to Sand Worm. Then comes our hero of the day moved, Wave Runner attacked Harklaw and its collateral damage took down the enemy San Worm. Only three enemies were left alive; Harklaw, Phantom Soldier, and Gargoya Lion.
ROUND 2
Dragon Jumper made a decent jump again, he killed Phantom Soldier at the beginning of the second round and his collateral damage hurt Harklaw and broke Gargoya Lion's shield. The Kraken quickly followed again, but this time it finally took down Harklaw. Only Gargoya Lion was left alone on the enemy field. Wave Runner took a final blow in this battle, it slew Gargoya Lion and secure a victory for the team. Well done, team.
The battle ends pretty fast with only 2 round fight.
Questions and Answers:
1. Did my strategy work?
My strategy worked really great as planned. The Kraken did an awesome job as a tanker, it took every incoming attack from the enemy team and also perform a massive attack on the enemy tanker. Wave Runner's quick speed did a secure blow after the first open-wound attack from the Kraken.
Venari Wavesmith provides a shield for the rest of the team, without these extra shields, Wave Runner might be dead from the collateral damage. Dragon Jumper was a key success to the team victory, his every jump confirm a kill for the rest of the team, he sabotaged behind the enemy line before they could reach their turn.
2. What will you try differently next time?
For next time, I might consider using a higher-speed monster for the last line of defense. For example, Cornealus or Phantom of the Abyss, since Sand Worm made a terrible performance on this show haha. None no damage to the enemy team. Or maybe putting Dragon Jumper as the last line of defense, his high speed and Flying Ability can evade most of the incoming physical attack from a non-flying enemy.
3. Do you like the WAVE RUNNER? Why or why not?
YES, I like WAVE RUNNER. Wave Runner is always my favorites choice for a second tanker when playing melee monster Water splinter. Wave Runner comes with high speed and useful Reach Ability. It can act as a second tanker and freely attack from the second position. The higher level Wave Runner comes with a higher attack and speed. Moreover, LV5 Wave Runner comes with Knock-out Ability which can be very useful for the team.

That's a very dominant victory, Dragon Jumper is always a destrutive monster I dread coming up against.
