Great cards! Glad you were able to get this first Gladius Case following a !PIZZA victory!

I'd like to see better analytics for leaderboards and guilds. A tool that lets me copy a guild roster and provides pertinent information- wins, losses, battles, highest rank, last 3 frays entered, win ratio for brawls, favorite splinter, average collection power, etc etc. It would help manage guild members and keep track of how players are doing without having to track it all manually!

A similar tool would also be useful when trying to climb the leagues or leaderboards to see what your competitors are up to!

As far as something that could be built into the game- I'd like a "mentor system" where an established player can allow their mentee to use their cards when the mentor isn't online.

@kennysgaminglife! I sent you a slice of $PIZZA on behalf of @dibblers.dabs.

Did you know you can earn $VFT through the PIZZA farm? (1/20)

I'd like to see stats about my own usage of cards, my win rates on such cards or splinters and maybe the opposite as well like my lose rate on particular splinters and cards to have better analysis of my strengths and weaknesses and see when I need to focus when renting or buying cards.

I'm thinking that the best resource for me, personally would be

the ability to save a grouping of cards, and auto-rent the lowest DEC for the BCX you want

So you could make like: "Water Daily Team" and you'd rent that, and it'd auto-add those to your cart for a quick way to rent for dailies

then you could have other templates like
Neutral Core
Splinter Dailies Teams
etc. etc.

you'd still probably need to manually rent for Gold Foils, but for me, I often rent my ideal team as non-goldfoils, and then upgrade them to goldfoils as I need the power.

Thankyou very much for the pizza!
for me i think they should put a deck building guide within the game, or recommendation building a deck, that would help a lot for players to build a deck :D
More power to your community!
@rymehosean

Suggestions on how to navigate the change I just learned about... that the season rewards are only relevant to your rank at the end of the season. I always rented a bunch of cards mid season when the demand wasn't so high and pushed to gold, then the rentals would end and I'd be in a low league again. I'm stuck on money saving strategy on this. @squishna

I think what would help is an active Percent on Return. It would be cool to see what you sell the cards for minus what you bought the cards for(cost basis) divided by cost basis times 100. I know you can do it in excel but, doing it this way would encourage more to buy and sell cards which would make for a more efficient market. @project10back

Hi , I´m @trenloco.

If I had to choose, I would rework tournaments entirely. As a new-ish player, with a modest card collection, I avoid events like the plague.

Even with novice level caps, battles feel meaningless. The prizes are always very skewed toward the top positions (as expected) and those are almost always taken by whales, with access to the whole card pool.

I´d suggest some kind of draft or fixed pool tournament, where new players can enter and really test out their skills, without fearing of losing to cheese like Kron/Llama or stacked Yodin decks at novice cap.

Thanks for the opportunity!

A couple things:

  1. Some sort of "starter pack" of sorts. Maybe it gives one random common or rare from each splinter and is purchased for Credit or DEC. Would jump start new folks a bit and give them something to own out of the gate.
  2. A chat system in game... I think this would be cool? Maybe? Or even just some sort of "friend" system whereby people could add people from other social media (i.e. Discord) in-game for chat.
  3. Wheel of Fortune sort of game in the game. A bit of a gamble, but for some amount of DEC you spin the wheel and can win something (potions, cards, NFTs, etc.).

Thanks!

Hey! Lucky you on the epic pull! Anyway, for the gladiator cases, they have their own potions! You can see it in the gladiator shop! Apparently these cases will serve as their golden and legendary potion!

For what can maximise my Splinterland experience, I am thinking of having a guide to assist players on how to actually extract their physical money from the game. The game has many assets, ranging from DEC to SPS, and it is associated to tokens on Hive such as $Pizza and SPT. Generally, people jump onto this bandwagon with the promised Play2Earn model. True enough it is wonderful and enjoyable. But I do encounter a few hiccups when I first tried to monetise all my assets. So in my opinion, it might be helpful to have such a guide!

IGN: @rayius

  1. Well, I would like it a lot if the market would display (at least as a tool tip) the prices of cards (bought or rent) on DEC and credits, on top of the dollar price.
  2. A way to convert DEC into credits would be useful too, if you wanted to buy or rent a card and had your money split between DEC and credits. Or at least, an option to rent/buy a card using both currencies.
  3. A more in-depth tutorial, that displays more abilities and summoners would be nice, for newcomers at least. I had to spend hours reading all the abilities and it took me days to get used to the different splinters and summoners and monsters.
  4. Right now, I wish there was something else to do besides the daily quest, I feel like I only get online at nights, to do my daily quest and then spend some of my capture rate to 70% or so, and then I got to wait like 22 hours to play again. Besides the tournaments (which I haven't joined yet because I feel I'm not prepared) and checking the market and the HIVE net, I got nothing else to do lol.
  5. Everything else they are already taking care of it, like the new card packs or more reward cards coming, new abilities, etc., so I guess we just got to be patient. Overall I really like this game, I think its probably the best NFT game out there, the quality of the work, the code, the system, everything is really great, I love it.. I hope I can contribute in some way to make it better and bring more people into the splinterlands lol

I really dont like the in game market experince. It isn't bad but it could be better. Some points that bug me in the in-game market (there are more ofc):

  1. renting (out/in)- this need a rework and soon. Sometimes I get an unclear amount of DEC out of nowhere, and only when I open the balance sheet do I see that someone has canceled a card I rented from. Even without mentioning which card was canceled and requires replacement.

  2. Card trading- Want to check the prices of a card before you determine the amount you want to get for the card? Good luck, you need to do this in the most cumbersome way possible.

  3. Power-It is not possible to see how much power a card will add to your balance if the card is not in your hand already. It may not be as critical as the other points but it's something I'd expect to see.

Maybe Im the problem and I should learn how to use the other markets... but for me right now the in-game market is pain in the ass

Thanks for the !PIZZA

I'd like the dev to beef up the gameplay tutorial, because for instance the attack order was always thought to be only depending on speed stats, where I found out it's not only speed that matters.

Read my post regarding attack sequence HERE.

@kennysgaminglife! I sent you a slice of $PIZZA on behalf of @tedus.

Did you know you can earn $VFT through the PIZZA farm? (1/10)

A guide on what to buy, how to put your team together would help a lot.
Also, I would like to know more about guilds.

Thank you for the pizza!

In my opinion, adding power indicator is very helpful. It is not possible to see how much power a card will add to your balance if the card is not in your hand already. It may not be as critical as the other points but it's something I'd expect to see.

Thanks for the giveaway! @edusan

About gameplay experiences... i think i would like to be able to see with more detail the cards used by my opponent in the last matches. Today it shows a little bit of the image and the name,but for new people that me, i still dont know exactly what every card does by looking at the image or name. Specially when all the cards i know are the starter cards

A gameplay feature I would like is an updated DEC price for shop items, namely, the quest potion. Renting to silver 1 seems to be the most affordable way for me to play the game but it feels like i do not get much rewards that help me progress as a new player. They said they would change the quest potion price for DEC but have not done so for a while now.
@pekora

A simulator tool would be nice to create strategies.

Ign: lokiroki

I think a useful functionality on Splinterlands market UI is to have the option to see the DEC equivalent value for the listed cards in the market, right now we only see the $ price

to help beginner players i think there should be a different rank/tournament rules for bronze players, rules are players can only use lvl 1 card , that could help beginners a chance to win a bronze tournaments, this just came out of my mind after battling a lot of idle strong players (maybe staying in bronze for leaderboard) on bronze.. llama and kron plus a lvl 2-4 and ur done XD..
@yasufuma

I wish I had a guide on how to build the best budget decks. I've got some DEC to spend, but don't know where to begin.

@litrydow

I think it would be nice to have a way to save comps for certain mana levels, so you could quickly replicate teams that work for you.
@squidzooka

Well i am a new bie here and whatever i learn it here its thru YouTube vdos now i had a feeling that there shud be a comprehensive step by step guide for beginers what can be ur first team and the fire and water elementars are vital in the game.. since the game has so much depth one cudnot understand easily. in the beginning i was freighting that i cant play this game but i tried .
in card sections there are limited options available which always takes time to unfold.. they shud provide more options in card sales.
@sharicowboy

I would love a SplinterWAR stat: WAR (wins against replacement) stat for Splinterlands cards mixed with something like 17lands in mtg including a customizable function that allows for toggling rulesets/ splinters / rank and to analyze certain matchups to best prepare against certain metas.

I would love to see a tool that could show the price of a collection that can compete in each league. For example the price of a full collection of level 5 commons, level 4 rares, etc for competing in silver.

I'm a new player and I find myself only playing at nights due to Dec capt ratio and going for daily quests, as someone else commented above. It would be nice to have something else to do the rest of the day in game. Also it seems kind of a lonely experience, maybe adding a comment system on battle replay could help bonding in the community. Could have an add friend option to see whos online

Rental notification/ duration and rental extension button at the rental page (Not using peakd)

IGN: yeheyiii

For me, a huge boost in my gameplay experience will come from the market experience. Since I always bulk rent every two days (most of the time similar cards), it will be nice to be able to do it in just few clicks.

My idea for this is being able to make a groupings/template for my usual card rentals, including specific levels and foil type for each card.

The feature that I am using as an alternative for this is the favorites filter in PeakMonsters. However, when I am bulk renting, it is still time consuming to manually check/input the levels that I want for each card.

Thanks for the post and giveaways. I think that the market should work more like auction houses in MMO's. It's very easy to find what your looking for and to narrow it down easily by price/level etc.

@mcgilli

hmmm..i think a guide on what to rent to climb up the ranks would be nice and also include on how much dec should we spend in renting those cards..

thanks for giveaway
ign papachie

i would add some "1 time buy" items for the new players.
so they could get like (10 packs for 5000dec) or something like that.

not sure how this would be done without people exploiting it... but i wish there was a way lol

Well, for new players like me, written guides from websites like this (peakd) and splintertalks is a big help, especially for planning what cards to rent or what card is strong against popular combo cards like llama-kron and mylor. Without guides like this, I might give up already.

@rayver0329

For me I think maybe list of top used element in each rank. Also top used card in each rank. I believe it will help a lot in term of selling and renting card also determining which card to pick.

My guild is super informative and we share a lot of useful infos in the discord. so yeah thats where i learn a lot to improve my Splinterland skills

Rental prices are through the roof so I would love the tool to auto rent specified cards if they are listed below x dec
@altryx

I started playing a few days ago and the first days it was really hard for me to learn how the market works so I will change the market so new players can understand how the market works or at least a tutorial about the market.

Thank you @kennysgaminglife for your giveaway.
For me, I used to watch some of the player's battles in splinterlands thats helps me with my strategies in the game also I believe More playing the game the More experience you get :)

@pharaoh1

I think that a calculator that would help battle statistics would be really helpful. Specifically I'm thinking of something that could show miss rates between two cards given their speed and other relevant statistics. Thanks for this!
IGN: @phonsoswag

A win-rate of summoners would be nice per League level. This will provide some tips to new users. @mrchillph

I would love to see some "recommended" units/cards. Something the system thinks my deck is lacking and thus encouraging me to add to my collection!

Skill filter option to know which monsters have specific skills

@joshnaire

As a new player, I think it will be useful to show how much power each card has in the market (to find out the cheapest way to get power). ign: oetneb

how about showing the winning decks of the top players and % win rate

I think adding a function wich you could upgrade your starter collection with Dec would be ideal for new players trying to climb the ladder. @orosos

As I said before, there should be a new marketplace feature such as being able to change your preferred currency, I want to see the card in Market already in Dec price not the dollar one, because as a player in silver league I do always check how many dec it is. And when I find it to be a good deal, sometimes it's already gone, so having to see it in dec price is like an easy way. And another the total power when buying or renting a card they should add a "total power" in marketplace to bw able see how much power that card has, I always do calculations with calculator and it takes time.

Ign: @xenonia

I think a random delegation function for players. Power is needed most for all players.
Ign: nnniel

An auto-set cards function would help a lot of players. It can save time and give beginners an idea on card positionings.
