Hey guys. I am delighted to announce my return with the thrilling SPLINTERLANDS BATTLE MAGE CHALLENGE, featuring one of my all-time favorite rulesets: EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY. In my previous post, I consistently prioritized speed within this ruleset, but this time around, I have chosen to take a different approach. Witness the sheer dominance I achieved over the enemy using a single monster!
CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK
RULESETS OF THE GAME
Up to Eleven
All Monsters have the Amplify ability.
Explosive Weaponry
All Monsters have the Blast ability.
Stampede
The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.
My first thought was to use QUORA, A 21 mana cap game with an EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY ruleset, it will be very difficult to win against her with this scenario which I why I chose her instead and made sure that my other cards will be compatible with her that will further increase my win rate.
SUMMONER
Bold
MYLOR CROWLING shines as an exceptional summoner in this game, primarily due to the Up to Eleven ruleset that significantly amplifies his THORNS ability. This augmentation not only bolsters the defensive capabilities of my monsters but also enhances their offensive prowess.
TANKS
**QUORA TOWERSHEAD **serves as the cornerstone of my lineup, excelling as both a tank and a source of substantial damage. Her exceptional basic stats, including Speed, Damage, and Health, firmly establish her as one of the most overpowering cards in the game. In combination with the Explosive Weaponry ruleset, her Melee and Magical damage will decimate opposing supports, simultaneously boosting her own stats through her ability, BLOODLUST.
VENATOR KINJO acts as the ideal secondary tank, perfectly complementing QUORA with his invaluable REFLECTION SHIELD ability. By nullifying blast damage, he effectively safeguards my supports while buying valuable time for them to heal QUORA.
SUPPORT
WOOD NYMPH is the primary support in my lineup, with her invaluable TANK HEAL ability significantly enhancing **QUORA's ** survivability, which will increase my chances of winning.
RANGE DAMAGE
ACID SHOOTER purpose is spreading out my damage output and in case the enemy chose a monster with the TAUNT ability, he will still have a chance to spread out his damage which will weaken the enemy monsters and allow my QOURA to finish them all.
MAYLOR CROWLING vs TARSA, my summoner was a natural counter against her Offensive lineup. MYLOR's THORNS ability will increase my chances of winning this match.
In the initial match, both of us suffered the loss of two monsters. The enemy offense proved highly efficient, swiftly eliminating my WOOD NYMPH before it could act. Nevertheless, the THORNS ability of MYLOR CROWLING inflicted damage upon the enemy, while my QUORA was able to activate her BLOODLUST ability, further bolstering her might.
In the final round, despite losing the majority of my monsters, QUORA unleashed her destructive power and eliminated all of the enemy monsters and won me the game.
AFTERTHOUGHTS
Selecting overpowered monsters becomes an absolute necessity when confronted with the EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY ruleset, as they possess the potential to secure victory singlehandedly when played strategically. A QUORA equipped with devastating BLAST damage and fortified by THORNS for defense proves to be an unstoppable force, leaving the enemy with no chance of prevailing against this formidable beast.
