Hi guys, Necrozark here again, and this is my entry for the battle challenge for this week. My playstyle is always going for speed or sneak/opportunity monsters, I loved playing high speed monsters that's why I rarely uses earth splinters, because in this modern meta earth is for heavy magic damage and has slow speed. So I only uses this splinter if the ruleset will give me an advantage or I have no other option.

LORE

The Magi Tower is where Goblins go to learn how to use psychic abilities. It isn't just a gift Goblins can learn, but due to the proximity of Gobson, Goblins tend to show up more frequently. The Magi who calls the tower home, enjoys teaching the art of using one's mind to move objects and read thoughts. Goblin Psychics use their abilities to perform work in Gobson or become adventurers and practice to become a full fledged Summoner.

RULESET

	NAME	DETAILS
	FOG OF WAR	Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.
	EVEN STEVENS	Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.

STRATEGY

For this specific battle, I actully did not check my opponents battle history, and even though that Death splinter usually counter Earth deck, I have chosen the earth splinter because I have more monsters that I can play with this splinter and thus expected the enemy will go earth splinter as well with heavy magic damage.

LINEUP

NAME	POSITION	DETAILS
OBSIDIAN	0. SUMMONER	I chose Obisidian because of her ability +1 magic damage, and because I am going for heavy magic damage monsters.
UNICORN MUSTANG	1	I picked Unicorn Mustang in my first position because I am expecting the enemy to go magic as well, and this monster is a really good counter against magic and the best tank available.
KHMER PRINCESS	2	I went for Khmer Princess in the second position, because she is a magic damage monster that will be boosted by my summoner and also in case my tank dies, she can be an expendable monster.
GOBLIN PSYCHIC	3	Our main character for this battle is Goblin Psyhich, he is the main support for the game and the winner of the game will depend on his heals.
QUEEN MYCELIA	4	Queen Mycelia would be one of the most important monsters that I have picked in this game, because of her ability Protect, In case the enemy does not go for magic, I can still tank because of the buff that she gave and placed her in the fourth position which is a safe place for a support to be on.
MAGI OF CHAOS	5	I placed Magi of Chaos at the 5th position because it is the safest position, he is my main damage dealer and also with average speed.
GOBLIN DARTLING	6	I got Goblin Dartling for my last position because he is the only available monster that I can use with the left MANA that I have.

THE BATTLE

I got countered based on our summoners, however I am still expecting this to happen, that's why I picked Queen Mycelia for her buff to give +1 armor, even my magic damage became lesser, I can still out live the enemy base on my supports ability to Heal and Protect, thus I am still confident with this line up.

ROUND 1
At the starting round, we traded damage, however the difference is I have Goblin Psychic heal that made my Unicorn Mustang live longer.

ROUND 2
For the second round, It is still the same we traded damage, however in this round, I killed his tank, that made him vulnerable.

ROUND 3
Since the main tank is killed in the previous round, I killed 2 of his monsters consecutively, without him killing any of my monsters.

ROUND 4 and ROUND 5
For the final 2 rounds, since the enemy only have 2 remaining monsters in the field, the game finished without any problem and I won the game.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Since I won the game without losing any monsters, I can confidently say that my strategy worked. Maybe next time instead of placing Queen Mycelia in the 4th position, I would place her on the 5th position, because of her ability Protect that would make him super valuable.

Do you like the GOBLIN PSYCHIC? Why or why not?

I like playing Golbin Psychic especially in the rulesets Equalizer, Reverse Speed and Back to Basics. This rulesets will make Goblin Psychic shine. But if those rulesets are not in play, I rarely play earth splinters.
