This is my post for the battle weekly challenge - WOOD NYMPH.

A peculiar new bud appeared at the tips of the highest branches of the Elder Tree. The animals living in the tree watched as the strange buds grew, and in a matter of days, burst open. From each bud zoomed forth a tiny sprite. These Wood Nymphs quickly scattered around Anumün in a frenzy of mischief..

  Reverse Speed
  Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks
  Target Practice
  All ranged and magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability .

• Mana Capacity : 42

• Available Element : Fire & Earth

OPPONENT BATTLES REVIEW

• Littletaurus used Obsidian ( Earth Splinter ) based on his last 3 battles.
• He has a Mushroom Seer which can reduce the magic attack of all enemy monsters.

MY STRATEGY

• I should choose monster with the low speed because of the reverse speed rule set.
• I chose Earth Splinter because got a lot of monsters with low speed with magic attacks in there.
• I believe my opponent will choose the Earth splinter with the magic attack as well.
• I will combine magic monsters with snipe monsters in order to target the enemy magic monsters.
• I will use Wood Nymph and Goblin Psychic to double heal Mycelic. At least Mycelic can survive round 1.

BATTLE

ROUND 1

• As expected almost the same lineup except for the last 2 monsters.
• Round 1 started with + 1 magic attack by both Obsidian's buff and followed by -1 magic attack by both Mushroom Seer's debuff.
• Opponent got the chance to attack for the first time in 3 times a row.
• My Mycelic only left 2 healths.
• Luckily Goblin Psychic and Wood Nymph save him and add his health becomes 8.
• Hunter Jars kills the opponent's Mycelic before the end of the 1st round.

ROUND 2

• My Mycelic got killed by Sand Worm in the first time attack.
• Goblin Psychic and Wood Nymph work together to kill Opponent's Mushroom Seer.
• My Mushroom Seer also got killed by the opponent's Goblin Psychic.
• The magic attack reduction is gone because both Mushroom Seers were killed.
• Hunter Jarx kills the opponent's Goblin Psychic before the end of the 2nd round.

ROUND 3

• Sand worm tries to kill Hunter Jarx but fails.
• Wood Nymph and Goblin Psychic keep healing Spocerer in the first position and attack Earth Elemental.
• My Spocerer manages to kill the opponent's Spocerer.
• Hunter Jarx kills Earth Elemental.
• Sand worm kills Spocerer.
• Goblin Psychic and Wood Nymph work together and manage to kill Sand Worm.
• I Win!

BATTLE EVALUATION

• My double heal strategy went smoothly.

• At the end of battle I still have Goblin Psychic, Wood Nymph, & Hunter Jarx.

• Based on Splintertools my win rate is 69%.

• I can increase the win rate with Kron but Kron is quite expensive to rent.

• Don't forget to check our enemy's last battles so we can choose the correct strategy. I know sometimes the prediction and strategy will fail but still worthy.

CONCLUSION

I like Wood Nymph. She is one of the must rent monsters for my battle. I usually pair her with Mylor, Unicorn Mustang, Mushroom Seer to counter Obsidian and friends. The rent cost also very cheap.

We better not use her if there is an OPPORTUNITY rule set. She will be the first target to be killed because she has low health.

FUTURE PLAN

• I will keep using her for the full magic attack, magic counter combo, and double heal strategy.
