Share Your Battle - MYCELIC MORPHOID

Mycelic Morphoids are in a constant state of growth and development. As part of Queen Mycelia's brood, Morphoids work to spread the growing blight on Praetoria. Infected themselves by the poison, they take root near streams and rivers, contaminating it with the blight. In turn, the waters feed them, and a second Morphoid sprouts from the original. Together, the two travel as one until they split and continue the process.

Hello Everyone!

I would like to share my battles using MYCELIC MORPHOID. He is a Earth splinter Monster from Chaos Legion edition.

I will share my battle by using him in my scholarship account so I could have experience using him in the higher level league and battle.

Let's go through the detail of this Monster first.

MY LINEUP

	+1 Magic	Earth	Taking into account the ruleset and Monster options that I have, I choose Earth splinter because I have some great low mana Monsters in the splinter. I will use a combination of Melee and Magic attack Monsters.

1st	Hill Giant		Stun	Hill Giant lv6 has 2 Melee attacks, 2 speeds, and 7 health. Besides his great stats, he also has Stun ability. He is a great tank for a low mana Monster. Hopefully, he managed to stun the opponent's Monsters in the battle.
2nd	Venari Scout		Dodge & Opportunity	Venari Scout lv 6 has 2 Melee attacks, 3 speeds, and 4 health. He has Opportunity and Dodge abilities. He will target and attack the opponent's monsters with the lowest health.
3rd	Venari Spellsmith		Dispel & Amplify	Venari Spellsmith lv5 has 1 Magic attack, 3 speeds, and 4 health. He has Dispel and Amplify abilities. Amplify will increase damage of the Thorns ability that owned by Mycelic Morphoid.
4th	Elven Mystic		-	Elven Mystic lv 1 has 1 Magic attack, 2 speeds and 3 health. I chose him because he is a Magic attack Monster and has decent health among other monsters.
5th	Queen Mycelia		Protect, Amplify, Triage	Queen Mycelia lv3 has 1 Magic attack, 1 speed, and 4 health. She has triple great abilities that are needed in this battle. She will give 2 armors to her allies, enhance the damage of Thorns effect and heal the back-line allies Monsters.
6th	Mycelic Morphoid		Thorns	In the last 1 mana, I choose Mycelic Morpoid as I need a Monster to cover Queen Mycelia from Sneak attack. He has Thorns ability and will get 2 armors from Queen Mycelia's buff will make a decent defense from Sneak attack.

• The opponent used the Dragon splinter and combined with Water splinter.
• The opponent's lineups are :

• Round 1 started with buff and debuff process by both team as follows :

• Pelacor Bandit attacked first and targeted Mycelic Morphoid in the last position.
• He managed to destroy Mycelic Morphoid's armors but got 3 damage back from Mycelic Morphoid's Thorns ability.
• Mycelic Morphoid's Thorns damage has been increased by 1 due to the effect of Queen Mycelia and Venari Spellsmith's Ampilify ability.
• Angelic Mandarin heals Pelacor Bandit, attack and destroy Hill Giant's armors.
• Venari Scout tried to attack Pelacor Bandit but missed.
• Elven Mystic managed to kill Cruel Sethropod.

Summary of round 1 :

• The first round went according to strategy.
• The Opponent's Pelacor Bandit is quite dangerous. Luckily, he will die when he attacks Mycelic Morphoid in round 2.

ROUND 2

• Pelacor Bandit managed to kill Mycelic Morphoid at the beginning of round 2 but he got damaged back and killed by the Thorns ability.
• Angelic Mandarin managed to kill Hill Giant.
• Twilight Basilisk dealt 2 damage to Venari Scout and also managed to stun him.
• Twilight Basilisk is killed after attacked by Venari Spellsmith and Queen Mycelia.

Summary of round 2:

• As expected, Pelacor Bandit was killed when attack Mycelic Morphoid.
• I could win this battle because the opponent only has 1 no-attack monster and 2 Ranged attack monsters at the end of round 2 while I still have 3 magic attack monsters with armors and 1 Melee attack Monster.

ROUND 3

• Angelic Mandarin dealt 2 damage and kill Venari Scout at the beginning of round 3.
• Igor Darkspear destroy Venari Spellsmith's armors and also managed to stun him.

Summary of round 3 :

• Igor Darkspear's Stun ability delays my victory a bit but time will tell.

ROUND 4

• Venari Spellsmith is killed after attacked by Angelic Mandarin and Igor Darkspear.
• Merdaali Guardian is killed after attacked by Queen Mycelia and Elven Mystic.

Summary of round 4:

• The next round will be a slowly killing process as the opponent only left Angelic Mandarin attacking my Monsters.

ROUND 6

• Queen Mycelia managed to kill Igor Darkspear at the beginning of round 6.
• Angelic Mandarin was killed after attacked by Elven Mystic and Queen Mycelia.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?

• Yes, my strategy works effectively even if the opponent has a higher level Monster.

• Mycelic Morphoid has great merit by successfully killing Pelacor Bandit with his Thorn ability.

• Combination of Amplify and Thorns abilities useful in the battle.

CONCLUSION

• Chaos Legion edition has 1 mana Monster in each splinter except Dragon. They have different stats and abilities.
• Mycelic Morphoid is one of the favorites because of Thorns ability.

• We need to make him level 3 first to get the Thorns ability.
