Hello, hivers!
I'd like to share with you my progress. It isn't quick enough, but july was extremely hot and I couldn't push myself to draw. And one more reason is that my daughter occupied ipad almost completely.
I've got graphic tablet also, but I am practicing lineart there.
So I made final flat sketch for all the work, and then get back to character. Though first I wanted to practice all the work like flat I became eager to practice anatomy, and here she is - our river nymph. And I still have environment ahead of me, and final effects with light influences.
Thank you for watching,
Further is the one with which I participated in artcontest several months ago.
i think it would be easier to judge if i knew what the original character looks like 😉
It is like "do it in your style" from splinterlands game. And, of course, my nymphs are absolutely different. I leave the skin, hair and dress colours, but generally she is all my imagination.
And that is especially obvious with my hardest part, which is anatomy from imagination. Usually I construct it all in my head without any reference. It is very hard and I can spend lots of time thinking about muscles or how light falls, but I am sure it is very useful for my progress.
