Match Ruleset Overview:
We have three rulesets, 46 Mana to use, and four elements to choose from. So, why Dragon + Water in this particular case?
- Water cards with Dragon summoner work well against Tis But Scratches ruleset because you can utilize more high-health minions in the front to minimize its effect and execute fun combos to clear the back of the enemy's lineup.
- This combo also works great with Fire & Regret ruleset. In this case, you don't need to rely on ranged attacks and shouldn't expect it, but facing Magic is probable. So instead, you can build a very strong lineup of tanks and Melee attackers with a serious effort of Magic defenses.
- Silenced Summoners ruleset means that the Earth summoner won't have the advantage of +1 Magic attack. This is why Void ability combined with high health is the best starting point to building this lineup and makes Water a perfect choice for that.
Card Selection & Lineup:
1st Spot: Baakjira
Because I presume my enemy will likely go for Magic attackers, Baakjira in the 1st spot is great for several reasons. First, since Silenced Summoners is active, Void ability nullifies all attackers with 1 Magic attack.
Second, it has the highest health from what was available throughout all my cards, and also gives +1 Health to the whole team. Syncs and takes advantage of all three rulesets pretty well.
2nd Spot: Carnage Titan
Carnage Titan here is a beast as it gets +1 Attack from River Hellondale and is unlikely to be killed early. 8 damage in one turn is crazy good to melt anything and its armor will protect from Thorns and Melee dangers, so that's the main source of damage to the tank right here.
3rd Spot: Djinn Oshannus
Djinn Oshannus is too good not to include against Magic monsters. As it also has Phase ability, it can also dodge Magic. With that 5 Speed and 12 Health, you know some of those attacks will be evaded (if it ever comes to it). Needless to say, works great with these rulesets.
4th Spot: River Hellondale
River Hellondale is in this lineup for one main reason - to give +1 Attack to three of my Melee attackers. It's also not vulnerable to Opportunity or Sneak, meaning it won't die first and will be able to utilize Resurrect ability at some point in the match. The damage is nice as well so this card is a must in this particular lineup.
5th Spot: Dhampir Infiltrator
One of my favorite cards, Dhampir Infiltrator is here to devastate the enemy's backline with a boosted double attack that does 6 damage! As long as you protect it from Sneak monsters, you're probably going to a lot of damage. That's why it's in second to last position here.
6th Spot: Deeplurker
Deeplurker lurks in the back for two reasons. First, it can absorb some potential damage coming from the enemy and won't die immediately, thus protecting Dhampir Infiltrator. Secondly, it attacks the lowest health monster with 5 Attack, which is usually really good against Magic enemies. A good choice to cement the lineup.
Result: A total carnage with zero casualties!
