Eternal Tofu is arguably the best summoner in Splinterlands today. His set of abilities, which he provides to his team, is extremely powerful and versatile, and can fit into the most diverse rule sets.
But what is undeniable is that against Meele-type monsters, he is even more effective and becomes very difficult to counter.
With that in mind, I thought I'd try to come up with a strategy to beat him.
When a battle came up with the Up Close & Personal rule, which allows only Meeles to be used, and the Super Sneak rule, which makes all Meeles acquire the Sneak ability, attacking the last card in the opponent's back line, I decided to execute a plan for this, as I was almost certain that my opponent would come up with Tofu.
At the front, I placed the Grimbardun Fighter, as its Shield and Reflection Shield abilities prevent it from taking absurd damage, as well as protecting it from the reflection provided by the Tofu.
On the opposite side, in the last position of the back line, I placed the Dumacke Orc. In addition to the Shield, the Retaliate helps him deal even more damage to his enemies.
I added the Junker to regenerate part of the armor of the two monsters mentioned above and keep them alive for longer.
The summoner chosen was Lorkus. I put the ability Life Leech on Dumacke and Junker, which increases life every time it takes the life of its targets. My idea was to make Dumacke, in particular, increase his life with attacks and Retaliates.
This is how the positioning and the cards selected by me and my opponent turned out. It looked to be an interesting battle.
In the first attack that started the battle, the opponent's Uraeus attacked Dumacke, who counterattacked with Retaliate, gaining 3 life points and eliminating him. My ally was left with Poison, but could stay alive until the end of round 2.
In the second round, he counterattacked again, eliminating another opponent and gaining 3 life points again. However, this time he lost 2 because of Thorns, since he had no armor points left. At this point, I already had a huge numerical advantage, and the chance of winning was high.
The battle came to an end in round 4, with victory going to my side.

Dumacke Orc is one of the best cards for the Up Close & Personal rule, since its skill set is exclusively for defeating Meele-type monsters. This makes its use fundamental to winning specific battles like this, and it's up to your creativity to find the best way to fit it into your strategy.
In the example above, you saw how it can work very well with Life Leech, which causes half the amount of life taken from the target to be recovered by the attacker, combined with Retaliate, which is a skill that gives a Meele a 50% chance of counter attacking another Meele when receiving an attack. This combination means that a card that doesn't seem so good can gain enormous power and define the course of a battle.
